unfortunately lost my Dad on 25th March 2011. My sister arranged music for his cremation, this was the song.... THE most beautiful piece of music i have heard. I cry every time i hear it. I listen over and over and over again.... i am in Jersey on a family holiday, however still listening. how i miss him xxxx, gutted. To think that he listened to this song capture him. gutted he's gone. gutted xxx
@synchronicity72 . Thank you for your communication. I am so sorry you are feeling sad. Music is so wonderful though because it demonstrates the immediacy and eternality of life. Your beloved dad is just in another dimension but he is as close as your thought. Not gone - just over the horizon. Bless you. Lorna Kelly
Lorna Kelly here. Thank you for your very nice comment. I am not Irish though my ancesters are. You have not heard of me because I have never been marketed. Not possible in a third world country like Zimbabwe where I have lived most of my life! It might have been different had I lived in the USA or Europe (At least thats what I like to think!)
Very, very nice...I have long-ago memories of my college voice teacher, John Mizell, performing this with a regional choir at our school--it's as beautiful as I remember it, and the acoustic space here is just right.

Yes, compares to Victoria de los Angeles, and better, I'd say, than Frederika von Stade's recording.
Nice singing, Ms. Kelly.

Sorry--should have emphasized that the voice is really strong and beautiful--that's what makes it...
