I just wish these guys would play in England just one more time. I would have loved to see them live, they were way ahead of their time. Orestes is the DON !
I saw Seam in Calgary once, with about nine other people. I also pulled the 'red light indoctrination' with Seam. The fact that nine other people showed up either showed that the 'red light' technique worked nine times or that it was horribly ineffective and that nine people just went to the same record store that I did. Or that they had nothing to do that night. That's depressing. Why isn't Soo Young Park famous outside of music nerd circles? It's racist!
What fantastic luck! The beginning is my favorite Bitch Magnet song. No telling how many ear cells I wrecked blaring this one on my tape deck, driving up to red lights and rolling down my windows for everybody else to hear. The red light is, in my mind, one of the most compelling ways to introduce the world to good music. Ineffective, but compelling. I'm sure everybody thought I was an asshole.
I was lucky enough to see BM a few times when I lived in Pittsburgh! God, what I wouldn't give to have this complete show. Thanks so much for posting it!
Legend fuzzman400, these guys dont get the credit they deserve, one of my favorite bands of all time, lucked out and saw them on this tour in London November 1989. if u got anymore keep em coming!
Dudes, I actually saw them in Dordrecht, Holland on this very same tour in 1989. If I'm not mistaken Steve Immerwahr of Codeine was manning the mixing board at the time. Heady days, life changing.
I'm really looking to NOT pay a hundred god damn dollars for UMBER/STAR BOOTY on cd. BEN HUR is awesome, and I just want more. but not for a hundred bucks on amazon.
BM are going to be gigging again this year. So they said on their Facebook page today.
Now that really is some seriously holy grail type s**t.

Bitch Magnet were up there with Slint and Codeine in redefining rock music.
