KCmasterpiece well saying u should kill christians bc they deny your prophet isnt close minded right?you only see what others think and try to stray away from your true beliefs!the only thing in this world close minded is to say u wont go to heaven if u deny christ but killing ppl for what they think is absolutely right... Wow straight logic i must admit
@gsmio Only listened to the things you hear? Is that it? If you had read the Koran, if you had read it in arabic, or even an acclaimed translation, or listened to a Koranic philosopher, you would know that the Koran says that you are permitted to kill a nonbeliever only if they try to attack you. That is pure logic. It says even then that you are only allowed to do so if they try to stop you from practicing Islam, and only after a grace period.
@gsmio even then it is frowned upon by Allah, as you have killed one of his sons or daughters. This is a teaching of Outer Jihad: the lesson to defend yourself, which Muslim fundamentalists have unfortunately construed to mean attack the United States. It means: If someone is threatening you, if someone is trying to kill you, then, by all means defend yourself.
@KCmasterpiece2 what ur sayin is nice but its not the reality! when some asshole made jokes about the prophet 2 or 3 years ago we all agreed that its wrong and he should be punished but the reaction of our muslims brothers in lebnanon was destruction of churches and christian cities and we had nothin to do with it.all of our history is based on wars in lebanon and we are the most aggressive warriors all arabs tried to destroy us and couldnt with all their numbers
@KCmasterpiece2 so we are not affraid but we didnt reply to these actions cuz all we want is civilization and understanding between us nway what ur sayin is nice but its not the reality of the majority of muslims in the world look whats happening in egypt and iraq look how they are distroying our churches and killing us so plz stop lying to urself
@Ashfiyeh hi im a lebanese orthodox too! I preach christianity among muslims, but most of them like kc are so ignorant to the fact that the old testament speaks about the messiah's coming so if they really do read the holy Bible they would become christians, and i know that he will lie to u like everybody and say muhamad was mentionned in the bible,i mean where the hell could a prophet say a person will come and deny this book...islam is nonsense, however we shouldnt be aggresive like them

get out from here no place for evils go to the desert where u really belong & live with beasts & dream with them , JESUS is the ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER .
@sarabyouaif In Islam, we are taught to be accepting of all religions. This means that to Muslims, Christians and Jews will still go to heaven. Muslims are not evil people, and the fact that you think so JUST BECAUSE we do not believe that Jesus is the son of god makes me sad. I know not all Christian think this, as i have many good Christian friends. But I ask of you to please not post such hateful remarks, as Allah loves all, not just those who believe that Jesus was the son of god.
@KCmasterpiece2 I absolutley agree with you, it's extremists in all faiths that give theirs faiths (Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, etc) and religion in general a bad name.
its small-minded people like these that only serve to steer people away from religion.
As a Christian, i believe that everyone will go to heaven in the end, no matter what they believa bout God or Jesus.
ignore ppl like @sarabyouaif, they`ll never be able to see beyond their own perceptions into the TRUTH!!!
of course this mans attitude was very very terrible, but is correct in saying Christ is the only way, he had said so himself . just everyone need remember what he also said, love one another as yourself.
@KCmasterpiece2 When muslims stop killing Christians, stop supporting terrorism, return the Church of the Hagia Sophia to the Orhodox Church, and stop treating women like dogs then I will take you seriously about Islam not being evil.
@2704443 if you take into account the percentage of Muslims who are nice, loving, normal people, and the percentage who are evil terrorists, there are something like maybe, hmm, .01% who are actually crazy psychopaths like Osama Bin Laden. The majority of muslims are, if anything, against terrorism. The Hagia Sophia is a monument owned by the Republic of Turkey. One country cannot "give" something they own to a religious group. And muslims are not keeping the Hagia Sophia from Christians.
@2704443 Many Muslims do not treat their women like garbage. In Turkey, for example, Women have just as many rights as men, and many women who are scarved CHOOSE to be so. Now, I will also remind you that there are Christian terrorists as well. One example is an extremist group, who believed in the coming of Armageddon and also believed that the police force was comprised of demons, and as such trained their followers in guerrilla warfare and attempted to eliminate their local police force.
@2704443 now before you make any more extremely insulting remarks about my religion, I bid you to actually READ the Koran and interpret it for yourself rather than blindly stating that Islam is evil without knowing ANYTHING about it, just as I have read the Bible. I do not hate you for your religion, please do not hate me for mine. If you actually DID know anything about the Koran, you would not be saying such things, because we both believe in the same god, and follow the old testament.
@KCmasterpiece2 Actually I own a Koran and have read quite a bit of it. There is nothing there that was impressive and know in several places it refers to Jews and Christians in a very negative light (put very nicely). Also we do not believe in the same God. If you do not believe that Jesus Christ is truly God and the savior of man kind and the only way, the only truth, and the only light then we do not serve the same God. As I am concerned Islam is rubbish, the world was a nicer place before it
@2704443 Did you get a good translation of the Koran? Because the one I have and have read (as any Muslim should) speaks of nothing you have just said. First of all, it would make no sense for Muslims to say that all those who believe in the one true god will indeed go to heaven, AND that Christians and Hews pray to the same god, and then turn around and put them in a negative light. And it would not make sense for the Koran to say that "Our God is your God" to the people of the book.
@2704443 I honestly madam or sir find it hard to believe that you would have actually read a Koran, because it speaks of love, actually many things that the bible speaks of as well. Your religious views on whether we believe in the same god is an opinion, and a false opinion on an irrefutable fact. Allah is literally "God" in arabic. It is not the same name for a different god, but a different name for the same god. Muslims read the old testament as well, which speaks of the same god.
@2704443 You have no backing to show me that I pray to a different god than you, unless you believe all the conspiracy theories that tell people that "Allah is the Arabic god of war" or whatnot. To simply say that I do not believe in the same god as you simply because I do not think Jesus was the son of God is very close minded of you. Do you honestly think that God would damn everyone in this world who did not believe that? That's more than half the World's population.
@KCmasterpiece2 Oh I would also like to point out that you have failed to refute any of my other arguments, other than my saying "go READ a Koran", which even then, you may be reading from some crackpot living in Yemen who thinks you should stone women to death and whatnot, or you could easily make up, as you assume you know what the Koran says or is saying, even though you have absolutely no comprehension of it. You should have taken that into account when speaking with a real Muslim, dear.
@KCmasterpiece2 First of all im a lebanese greek orthodox following the Antioch Chruch i just want to say that the Hagia Sophia is a Church it is the real house of God and the barbarians turks took it by force by massacring our people. You are talking about a country made by animals. im not saying that all muslims are like them but turks deserve to burn in hell however the qoraan says kill christians and go to heaven nway you know better but plz dont ever say that we worship the same God :)

@KCmasterpiece2 First of all I have better things to do than read and respond to all your nonesense about true Islam being sooooo tolerant and accepting. All I will respond with is the phrase, "actions speak louder than words". Islam has a long history of actions from constant invasion of countries, constant conversion by the sword, kidnapping of Christian children, destruction and theft of churches, calls for the destruction of Israel, the Armenian Genocide which Turkey refuses to acknowledge.
@2704443 you are an idiot I must say. What you have told me is that you would rather live in blissful ignorance about Islam than actually come to terms with what it says. And fyi, there are fundamentalists in Christianity. Christianity has done all of this too, do not put it on a pedestal. crusades, prosecution of Jews. The Ottoman Empire was the only religiously free nation from its founding in 1,302 until the United states in 1,776.
@2704443 they even sent military troops over to Spanish Morocco during the Spanish inquisition to evacuate the prosecuted Jews to the Ottoman empire, while christian Spain committed horrible acts. There is a little history lesson on religious tolerance. And are you as stupid as I think you are? Because, Turkey is a secular nation. It is not an Islamic republic, so to pin the Armenian genocide on ISLAM? Turkey takes separation of church and state even farther than the US.

@2704443 I think it is funny that you tell me that my religion is so filled with hate, and yet, I am the one who is telling you to please be accepting of all religions and you have such hateful things to say of mine. Hatred drives such prejudice as yours.
@2704443 I will touch off with this last statement. I refuse to continue an argument with such an ignoramus as you who has failed to refute one single argument that I have brought up, has used no evidence to support their own claims, and is furthermore not even educated in the subject of this debate. All you have is your hatred for Islam, and I am really quite sorry for that. Salaam (which means peace in arabic btw)to you, I hope you will one day be able to extinguish your unneeded hatred.
@KCmasterpiece2 I'm not debating with anyone and I'm not the one name-calling. I just threw a few facts out there. As for violence done in the past under the name of Christianity it was wrong and Jesus would have condemned such acts done in his name. Muhommad however encouraged such acts by his followers. It should also be noted that the Crusades were started when a muslim decided to burn down the holiest church in Christianity and the Spanish were reclaiming what had been taken from them.
@2704443 Hey, first of all im a lebanese greek orthodox following the Antioch Chruch i just want to say that the Hagia Sophia is a Church it is the real house of God and the barbarians turks took it by force by massacring our people. @ashfiyeh I totaly agree with you. I am sure you meant to direct your comment at KCmasterpiece2. Anyway, the Turks have and many other Islamic nations have a long history of invading, stealing, and massacring people in the name of Islam. As I am sure you know, the Armenians were dealt genocide by Turky at the early part of the 20th century; something Turky still refuses to acknowledge. There is an Antiochian Orthodox Church right by my house by the name of St. George too! I have been there, and it is really beautiful inside, with a really elaborate front. Thanks for listening, I'm glad you like it! I actually just used my MP3 player's mic(a Creative Zen), so it's not the best quality really. There are a lot of mics out there, so I don't really know what to recommend for you. Perhaps something that records in stereo
Hey, thanks for listening! For most of the service it was Arabic, not Greek. I'm not sure whether it was technically Coptic or Greek( I've heard the Coptics use something that is essentially Greek language), but either way, I understood the parts they did in Greek.
@friendlygogo The Antiochian Church uses some Greek, it doesn't use Coptic from my understanding. The Antiochian Church is based in Lebanon and dips into Syria, there are still some Greeks in that region. The Coptic Church and the Antiochian Churches are no longer in communion, whereas the Greek Orthodox and Antiochian Orthodox Churches are still fully in communion.

but are you sure they do the service in greek ? cause Egyptians usually have it in Arabic and Coptic (which is very similar to the Greek language)
