  • how do you do the one at 0:36 i need to know for a project pls answer

  • very cool, which kind of pc do you have, the question is because the fire effect looks very well rendered and there are a lot of particles

  • Really nice job here! I especially like the one at 0:13 with the ring

Is it multiple objects or one that moves? Since you get the fire to stay at the same place, and yes, I'm new at this ;)

  • @coollein yeah i agree with you it was a NICE cg make a tut dawchicks!

  • tutorial please !

  • I felt like I was watching the tape from the ring

  • your stuff is tight

  • 0:19 is best

  • Sorry for the after effects babble, but this needs camera shake:D

  • 0:10 Was very realistic

  • yet the title is too brief for this great effect....

  • these are awesome :)

  • u need the song "smoke on the water"

  • 0:31 cumshot

  • Very great job!

  • WHAT A SHIT DUDE

  • what's the best way to make random breakable glass? should I make it out of particles?

sorry if this is a stupid question, i'm new to computer rendering

  • @truth14ful

use a plugin called RayFire, there are some tutorials on how to use it.

  • what software did u use here?

  • @kb24atkim 3ds max, FumeFx, RayFire, realflow

  • U gonna render this in 2k for special effects :$?

  • very nice :)

  • could you make me an intro? if so, PM me.

  • That's awesome! I love it!

  • Nice!

  • Very beatiful , ending - amesome !

  • tutorial plz?

  • That's so cool! I'm jealous of your skills.

  • @walterallred thank you! I've now moved to arhitecture design and a few days ago got a job as a interior designer :)

  • @dawchiks Wow! That's awesome man! Nice work!

  • @dawchiks nice! congratulations!

  • @dawchiks Good for you :)

  • @dawchiks Congratulations on that! You should apply some of the stuff you learned here on to your new job. Like make something explode in the corner of a room when someone walks into it. Or have a ring of fire around the dining room table. Or make the tables out of a million cardboard pieces loosely glued together so when someone accidentally runs into it, it shatters! :D

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • You are really good man.. keep it up..

    you are really good...

  • Particle Ilusion VFX

    youtube.com/watch?v=b8ha0M2WBps

  • nice

  • so is this pretty much how avatar was made?

  • @666lilnickY lol, you wish :D

  • glass was awsome

  • The breaking glass parts look awesome

  • 6 people couldnt do these special effects

  • Really Really Really cool...

  • really good shadow work.

  • michael bay ba-explotions michael bay boom ma-bla sploom michael bay ba-explotions ba-boom hahaha

  • The second last one is real, I accidentally dropped some glass on a ball, this bastard just happened to have a camcorder present >=(

  • im gonna subscribe if u make more vid like this one

  • that's pretty cool

  • That 0:59 is very realistic, you have very good animating skills!

  • Torrent much? Lol, I do the same.

  • HI I would love to know how to create the Shockwave effect seen at 0:25 also the colour ect. sure no After Effects?

  • like the glass smashing effects. The kettle that turns into ashes, at the end i felt it dissapeared to quickly. Just constructive critisism. Good stuff *thumbs up*

  • what did you use to create?

  • @EpicFAILblog101 hmmm, 3ds max, vray, fumefx and rayfire.

  • @dawchiks

    and match mover :P

  • @dawchiks hahaha, id like to know how much all that cost.

  • @blakerobertss it would cost a lot if I'd buy it all.shhhhh, don't tell anyway. :D

  • @dawchiks Dude.... Friggin awesome!

  • how to creat in 3d max? anyway best create this!

  • i want serial number and authorization code plz........

  • that's a very good video overall, but the rayfire or whatever it is. it breaks all of the item what you wish to break. shouldn't it only break the parts which are colliding heavyly enough to break the material? like at 1:00. If there is a way, how can u do that?

  • @markfelix1000 yep, there is a way. u can see it in one of my videos. dunno which one.

  • @dawchiks I think it was in the other CG video, at 0:41/0:40

    can u make a tutorial?

  • Love 0.18

  • how can i do this? its soo sick, wat do i need?

  • @SHAAFreeSh 3DS MAX 2010, V-Ray, FumeFX, RayFire, Thinking Particles, a life of patience and about 10 years.

  • @grimtango5280 patience is the last thing I have but I do it anyway :P

  • i think the smoke is a bit too fast. nice tho

  • Those glass breakings were so cool O_o It never gets old

  • DUDE PLZ TUTORIAL ON 0:21 !!

  • wtf kas tas tāds....??

  • how did you get the ring of shock wave in the nukes ive been trying to figure this out,

  • как называется плагин, которым с чайникам мутили

  • does it take long to make such explosion

  • most of them are kinda bad, but a couple of them are amazing.

That looked like you could do a lot of that with Blender 2.5, but I guess you used 3ds Max since 2.5 wasn't out in 2009.

  • 0:36 sec what effect is that plz??? tell me i need that

  • Beatiful

  • what program did you use for the matchmoving

  • @Calvinator321123 no matchmoving on this video, dude. But I use SynthEyes for that.

  • @dawchiks ok thanks

  • @Calvinator321123 He didn't matchmove.

  • @goranification the end part looked like he matchmooved

  • How did u make those fumeFX explosions? Just simple emitters with high Expansion?

  • very nice work, except of the glas, it would never break like this ;D

  • Cooooool

  • Esta excelente!!! great JOB!!!!

  • Freaking awesome

  • It'd be cool if you mentioned what plug-ins you used to create most of these compilations... I'm guessing V-ray, FumeFX and rayfire?

  • yep. V-ray, FumeFx and rayfire.

  • hey, i've been working with fumeFX for quite a while now...but i cant figure out how to get the smoke so real (dense and reacting to the light and stuff) what settings are applied to what and with what renderer did you render this out?

i really hope you can help me out

  • try using fluid maps, it helps a lot.

  • oh ok, i'll try that maybe i can come up with something convincing enough to put on youtube =D

  • How do you creat a shock wave like at 0:26? Is it with Particle Src in FumeFx or what? Anyway awesome work!!!

  • actually it was a tube :D an animated tube.

  • Fanastic!!! I like it! great work!

  • 00:59 had almost photorealistic relfetions and shadows :O

  • just a luck with render )

  • Greate.. ))

  • omg thats fucking extreme! shit omg youre a master and i would give my leg to a kid if i knew how to do that! holy...............

  • Oh god! I have been trying to do :45 - :50 in your video with Ray Fire! I am trying to finish off this intro and I need an emblem to fly through glass horizontally though I can not get the Impact object to stay on a certain path without physics taking over and I can not get Animated time scale to effect both the fragmented glass and the animated impact object if you could PLEASE give me a heads up I will owe you one!

  • Comment removed

  • Gooooooooood!!! RayFire?

  • Very nice! Do you have or know some tutorials about fumefx? thanks!

  • nope, sorry :P

  • @dawchiks Oke, np man ;)

  • hey 0:39 how'd you destroy/cut the glass? ive been searching for months how to do that, awesome, cant wait till i get the answer!

  • @Toca91

RayFire plugin does the job ;)

  • how long do u spend on all of them? ;D

  • @TubeHalo

Few days, rendering takes the most time.

  • i think, that in 0:26 the gravity is very . . . high ? jaja sorry for mi english

  • wow u are really cool :P maya or max ? or other ?

  • @LucasZET

     Max.

  • do you have a super computer ?what specs :D

  • @jaggilardej

    Amd athlon x2 4200+ OC to 2.6 GHZ and 2 GB ram, if that's a super computer I'm a duck. :D ^^

  • I Have similar specs.. One thing is for sure, we need more ram...

  • @Toca91

Yep, I agree with you. If I'm lucky i will get a new PC.... mmmm... 12 GB ram... it's like a wet dream.

  • Hahahaha.... Like a wet dream.. xD Yeah.. Maybe one day we can make a vid together.. thats what just felt on my mind... Oh and no! It has no thing to do with a wet dream!!! >:-\

  • @Toca91

lol, yeah, that was a joke :D

  • Hey btw, i have a question, when i create my animation, impact object falls into peaces immediately when animation starts and not when its hit by another one. Thanks!

  • @Toca91

U can fracture them and add as Inactive objects, or add whole object in the inactive tab, and in the physX properties there is something like "breakable" or something like that :D

  • 0:32 how did u did that???

  • animated opacity map on the object. with the object as particle emitter.

  • wow =)

  • what about fire stuffs.... fume fx?

  • yep, fumefx.

  • 1:00 looks amazingly real!

  • 0:45 - 0-52 : Tutorial please ! :)
