  • Anthony Rocca his brother is a bigger Kick.

  • it's hard to believe that he looks small compared to all the other nfl players. aussie rule players look huge in their respected uniforms but when they are next to nfl players...man. how big are those guys in the nfl o:

  • So afl players dont get paid much for their sport? Does anyone know their actual salary?

  • @91gt306 an average players salary annually is $227,000 which is not much compare to other sports

  • @PandaRooey Ok thanks.

  • @PandaRooey Why is it nearly AFL related video I look at, I see u talking shit about how tougher the NFL is & such things LOL. There is more than few losers like u in America. Get a life. American Football doesn't hit harder or have better athletes Australian Football & that's a Fact. Stop talking shit & get a Life.

  • @AFFTL i never said anything about NFL being tougher than afl so dont go round saying that i bad mouthed aussies coz i didnt. It's funny how quickly you come to the conclusion that im an american LOL. If i hated aussies rules so much why did i play for 9 years? is it because i hate the sport? No, it's because i fukn love the sport. From a person who's played both aussie rules and gridiron i gotta say that gridiron has bigger hits than aussie rules by far but aussie rules players are alot fitter

  • @AFFTL if you still think that aussie rules players hit harder than gridiron players than find a gridiron club nearest to you and go watch them play. you'll be in for a surprise. Just letting you know if you're too stupid to realise Yes I am Australian and another thing Anthony Rocca comes to watch my team play

  • i don't like the eagles or the redskins, but rocca is a stud.

  • Nice Job Sav!

  • Trained with Sav before he played NFL, try catching one of his punts, virtually impossible on a windy day, he came down for his first taste gridiron with the Western Crusaders based in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

  • Anthony and Sav Rocca are FUCKING AMAZING. Some of the furthest kicks in the AFL and NFL.

  • shut up @AFLPodcast afl is a pussy sport

  • The lack of respect for each others sport is disgraceful

  • @AFLPodcast Agreed.

  • There is a reson NFL players wear pads and helmets. That's because if they didn't, at least one person would die every single week. The force of a linebacker and a wide receiver colliding is equivalent to being hit by a small car at 25mph (they've done the tests and calculated the force).

The NFL is a game of speed and power. Aussie Rules is a game of endurance.

  • @NealeinMI finally someone who has a clue about both AFL and NFL.. most ppl jst watch one and bag the other

  • @petehillie Both are great sports. I grew up playing Aussie Rules and still love it. But now I live in the US and watch both the NFL and College Football. Although my credability takes a hit 'cause I'm a Detrot Lions fan.

  • @NealeinMI i completely agree with u there

your so lucky living in the US coz u get soooo much more coverage

i live in melbourne but i still get 17 monday mornings a year of NFL..

im a diehard AFL fan but have been watching NFl for about 8 yrs now

hahaha my dads a lions fan

    Im a cowboys fan

  • @NealeinMI and aussie rules isnt speed and power? some of our boys would out run ur nfl boys,

and im a fan of watchiing the nfl, its a good sport

  • @LadsyOneProductions Chill mate. I'm not trying to put down Aussie Rules, I love it and played for years. But compared to the NFL it isn't speed and power. It's 4 qtrs of running, endurance. The NFL is a 3 hour game with 9 min of action. Many players only play a few minutes a game. So it's short bursts of all out power and sprinting hard for a few seconds. Both great sports with unique skills, but compared side by side it's Endurance vs Power and Speed.

  • @NealeinMI and afl isnt a game of speed and power? theres some of our boys that could out run ur nfl boys.

and im a fan of nfl so im not hating on ur sport

  • @LadsyOneProductions Aussie Rules is a fantastic game and played at a very high level but no afl players run sub 10 second 100 meters or 4.3 second 40s like in the nfl

  • @deffo99 the little ruck-rovers might

  • perfect aim...right in the corner

  • He just bumped into him! You all are dumb as hell debating NFL and AFL. Thats like debating NBA and MLB LOL their two different sport clowns

  • u nfl guys are lucky to have some of auzzies best talent, and his brother anthony is coming over to play for nfl as well.

  • Not alot of AFL players have big boots on them

  • yeah well 0010asis you can lick my balls, afl shits all over nfl so go suck a dick

  • man i cannot understand why they are testing roccas skills with a new kicker he is the man and Australain football aka AFL in my opinion is gay but is great for any team looking for a punter

  • @001Oasis AFL is gay?? You get hit from all sides, are constantly running, having to think on your feet, and you actually need footskills. 10x better than the glorified game of chess you guys play. (still haven't worked out why you call it fooball, btw)

  • @imogapils The ball is one foot long.

  • @imogapils Wow cant read i guess. I read the comment and never saw him saying anything about nfl being better, but yet you shit on the nfl a sport you probably know nothing about. In your opinion afl is 10x better then nfl, but thats all it is, an opinion not fact.

  • @001Oasis so u recon NFL is better than AFL?

  • @001Oasis wtf, how is afl gay, it makes nfl piss, nfl is all stop start crap, requires next to no cardiovascular fitness, no thinking on the spot, no hits from all directions, next to no marking, kicking, all you do is tackle which is also done in afl, run through players, which you do in afl,

afl requires speed, strength, cardio fitness, power, kicking skills, marking skills, handpassing skills, tackling skills, tackle breaking skills, dodging skills, reading the ball, craps all over nfl mate

  • @dylan6480 they're different games but i d\totally agree with you, nfl is nothing more than advertisement bliss. i tried watching it at home and i could stand all the fucking ads!

  • @EndorphineT78 try watching college games, nfl is extremely popular so its infested with ads. But other then that those guys are freakish athletes who have been playing the sport their enitre lives.

  • @dylan6480 yer i agree with you NFL is not as good as AFL

  • @dylan6480 NFL requires alot more strategy and thought than AFL because of the stops.

  • @kewlboy567 That not quite right. The amount of strategy in the AFL has increased in the last 10 years with floods, rolling zones and the like. It shows with the lower scoring. Maybe NFL has more, but its not "a lot more"

  • @dylan6480 You literally named off everything the NFL players need to have to be successful. You obviously don't know the complexity that is football, or you wouldn't be so naivé in this debate. While I can't say much about the AFL, it's still nothing compared to the NFL, and you can say it is better than the NFL, but that's nothing but a empty shell.

  • @Booba607 i think i named all the things that are not needed in nfl. the only thing they need is the strength to carry out such a boring game haha LMFB

  • @dylan6480 Not really, I've seen that sport and all they do is punt the ball which is why a few have been punters in the NFL. The catching is poor for various reasons. Also if you're going to bring up "handpassing" as a comparison you might want to reconsider.

  • @6JCD you must have seen them taking shots at goal haha dummy, u probably havnt watched a game and im glad cause u yanks dont deserve to watch it. your kind are too weak compared to ours with your pads and helmets.

  • "yanks" ? I'm guessing thats what your island calls the states. I've not from the US and have never lived there BTW. Everything in my previous comment is correct. If you'd like to make an intelligent statement.... Oh wait, you haven't, won't, and can't.

  • @6JCD haha dont need to, already have made a true statement. hahahah u make me laugh, thinking that nfl requires skill, eah maybe the QB and the RB or HB but the recievers and blockers is just common sense, theres nothing to it. no athletacism compared to afl is required hahahahahahahahahaha

  • @dylan6480 All those postions possess more skill than your game does. But hey, your not smart, I realize that, and you should stop commenting. Seriously you need to find better ways to use your brain and your time.

  • @6JCD hahahaha ok good on you

  • @dylan6480 You are truely ignorant.

  • @91gt306 whatever helps you sleep at night

  • @dylan6480 Obviously putting down AF and hyping up the sport you like helps you sleep at night.

  • @dylan6480 WTF? Have you even played it? Its easy to talk down on it when you dont know crap about, let alone even played it. He never said nfl was better idiot,

  • @91gt306 ok good on you

  • Besides Rocca and Darren Bennet, how often does something like this happen?

  • Ben Graham, i dunno why most aussie rules players dont do this more. Its in the off season and you get paid a whole lot more.

  • the AFL would have a clause in their contract saying they can't play other codes of football (having said that the NFL as a football code is debatable)

  • @AtTheDriveBy Because there training for the AFL they start up pre season training in November.

  • @AtTheDriveBy Because they have families and whatnot to take care of. Not to mentiion to adjust to a completely different playing style isn't as easy as it sounds in six hours.

  • Comment removed

  • @AtTheDriveBy cause majority of the decent [players have clause in their contract saying they may not play another code during their contact

  • @AtTheDriveBy Umm i think AFL clubs would have a problem with there players missing Pre Season. And risking the chance of them getting hurt.

  • all the time!

  • His brother Anthony just retired & he's crossing the Ocean to try-out for the NFL. He's just as good, can punt probably further than Sav.

  • *Retired from Aussie Rules, that is.

  • @Plembaf sav is better than anthony

  • @Plembaf

Anthony tried out first. He was kicking footys on film to Sav as his recruitment video. They took Sav because he was kicking it over Anthonys head when he kicked it back.

  • @Plembaf Anthony Rocca is a horrible kick!

  • @Plembaf Yeah but he cant kick straight

  • Comment removed

  • @Plembaf yeah Anthony can still kick, you can check out his video that happened just days ago, at the EJ. Whitten Legends Game, where all the players in this game have retired from AFL

  • @Plembaf nah Anthony wasn't as good imo Sav kicked more goals!

  • @Plembaf Sav can kick a AFL footy a lot further than Anthony, but who knows what might happen in NFL?
