peggy scott is from pensacola,fla.around 1975 she fronted a top 40/show band called papa joe and the rest at the sheraton inn in pensacola.she lived with her mother in the san carlos apartments.she had a few hit's with jo jo benson who was from columbus,ga.a terrible accident ended her career in the early 70,s or peggy would have been as big a star as gladys knight or tina turner.

i saw her with papa joe and the rest many times.they where the #1 band on the gulf coast back in those days.
