My Dad had one identical to the one shown. It's a LeSabre. With the High Compression Buick 350 it flew!It's a 350 Buick you can hear it, too high pitched to be a 455.
i've had many buicks back in the day, both 350's and 455's. this car has the classic characteristics of a well built high compression 350. plus it sounds like a 350.
a 455 in a skylark like that would be in 3rd gear before 50' with the tires smoking so much you wouldn't be able to see the car (without the brake).
My 70 buick is in a barn since 2002, waiting for a paint job and an exhaust. the 455 Stage1 convertible is my new project.

Thats a 1970 Skylark, the stock 350 for Buick in 1970 was rated over 300hp unlike Oldsmobile,and Chevy 350's being less than 300.

Stock 1970 Buick 350 with 10.25:1 compression was rated at 315 HP @ 4800 RPM and 410 ft. lbs. of torque @ 3200 RPM.
