  • Amazing traction control..i would be shitting myself on some of those tips

  • No traction control fitted - it was an option on the 4.0se. It was on road tyres, though!

  • whats the song? anyone know?

  • It's in the you tube library under blues, but can't remember the title!

  • great vid.

  • lol wat if it fell over

  • Unlikely, it'd go a bit further than that before that happened. Some of the other guys there were getting further over than that!

  • amazing...the traccion control

  • NO traction control fitted to this one. It was an option on the early 4.0 models.

  • was the bit in the mud in hi or lo gear range? i'm a novice

  • Low range all the way. It gives much better control.

  • all for charity i like it !!!

  • so there is more than mine that go of road

  • well I was not expecting that in the begining. What cars. makes you proud to own them.

  • thank you Trevinibadger

  • is it your RR? I'm planning to buy one of 4.6hse 97-98. Now I have a opel astra H. RR parts are really expensive in my country. is there any chronical problem of 4.6 hse ? transmission, suspension, engine etc.. ? I won't use it for off-road, mostly daily usage will be. but I'll be second owner, so chronical problems and longlife engine is important for me. How many kilometers/miles can it's engine go ? I see a few RR 4.6 needs new engine at 150.000 km. isn't it too short for a v8 engine ?

  • P38 Range Rovers come in two types - very good or very bad! Air suspension can cause problems, as can the HeVac unit/ blend motors. The early 4.6 engines did suffer with porous blocks, but most will have been changed under warranty by now - check with the seller to see if that's the case. General service parts are quite cheap, but repairs to suspension, gearbox etc can work out to be expensive if you're paying dealer rates.

  • im a p38 owner myself love the vid great stuff.

now i know im not the only person that takes them off road lol

  • Thanks for the kind comments. The P38 is very much my road car and is completely std right down to road tyres. It does get used for some gentle greenlaning, though. The Bobtail at the beginning of the clip is my other off roader which does tend to get used a lot harder, but is better equipped for it!

  • the music is great lol! love seein the p38 in action
