I have many question people been giving me alot of different answers, but I wanna know the true, i'm trying to gain weight, "20 pounds" and I only have dumbbells to work with, no barbell, I need workouts to help increase mass, any info, i'm on week 24, i'm 19 yrs old, 150 pounds at the moment, 5'8
Well I'm 6'1 265 with a 500 lb bench. I've played college football for 4 years. I would say to lift heavy to gain mass. Reps of 3-4. Do from 4 to 8 sets for every muscle group, every 2 days. While lifting heavy on the whole body and a high protein and calorie intake you will put on your 20 lbs.
Make sure you do your stomach with a weight(plate). I would say about 3-4 sets every other day or two. reps of 15-30.
Dumbells are good. Make sure they are heavy though. reps of 3-4 with fatigue!
...Also, If you do a lot of cardio then you may want to cut back to like every other day unless you are playing a sport. I still run about 2 miles and lots of sprints up hills about 2wice a week. Lift heavy. eat big. lots of straining, stretching, Proper Diet you'll get your mass. Like Brock Lesnar does. He eats any and everything. Try about 4,000 calories a day with about 200-300 grams of protein. I month max and you will have your 20 lbs for sure!!
@DohcterT your straight up dumb hey? these times are from rookies just coming into the nil at the combine Davis, Dexter 4.54 Griffen, Everson 4.56 Moats, Arthur 4.56 Hughes, Jerry 4.69 Sapp, Ricky 4.70 Dunlap, Carlos 4.71 Kindle, Sergio 4.71 Graham, Brandon 4.72 Worilds, Jason 4.72 Alem, Rahim 4.75

Do squats, lunges, leg press.
Bench incline, decline, flat, flys. Doing with dumbells are even better than a Barbell.
Do lats, power cleans, shrugs, calves.
Shoulders, triceps, curls.... All these muscle groups combined in growth will give you your 20 lb increase...
Also google burnouts and pyramids!!This will turn you into a beast for sure.
