  • In midget voice, Damn this was 10 years ago.

  • kens best performance in pride

  • shamrock does look good for a movie

  • what happened when the screen was turning dark ? in the very beginning

    does anybody know ?

  • @dome4life Power went out.

  • I met Ken Shamrock. He's BADASS!!!

  • By this point i had came 2 the conclusion that i loved frank shamrocks work but ken was wayyyy too overrated. then at the end of this is was like damn finally he had a clean fight where he actually got the ko. BY FAR KEN"S BEST FIGHT!!!!!

  • @baidey420 gotta say the Severn win was his best due to the massive size disadvantage.Besides Severn is better than Otsuka.

  • Ken should've retired after his victory over KIMO... his first fight with Tito, Ken showed great heart but also that he was done with fighting.

no need for the second and the third one.

  • lol the lights went off

  • Ken and tito rule I wish I could see ken Fight tito in his pime he was never the same after frye but this fight here is ken at his all time best.

  • KEN SHAMROCK IS A LEGEND!!!!!!!!

  • The Diet Butcher

  • anybody know when Ken is fighting next?

  • early march vs seth petruzelli

  • he is still active?

  • @1fletch this ken shamrock vs tito! shame it was 2years after

  • @stu03ufc - I know mate. Ken was fit and uninjured here - 218lbs, whereas he cut to 202lbs vs Tito..... I don't think Tito could outstrike this Ken.... nor could he outwrestle him. Ken as heavyweight was a strong beast.... Otsuka beat Ruas, and even Igor couldn't knock him out...... this Ken > any Tito

  • @1fletch i think u forget how good of a wrestler tito actualy is....

  • Pretty sure he's still on steroid suspension. He tested positive before the Tank Abbott fight.

  • @boatstaylor July 10th against Mark Coleman...

  • kick that jap's ass !!

  • Ken's still a legend, recent losses can't take away what he did for the sport!

Although i too wish he would have retired with his (great) legacy intact some years ago.

  • Ken was a great fighter. I have a ton of respect for him, but I wish he would've retired after his first fight with TITO.

  • @kai0shin I agree I hated to see ken lose to that asshole motherfucker

  • @jindigger Agree

  • ken was indeed good when he was younger, but he also didn't know when to stop fighting...

  • @TheAjdam - age 38, 42 and 42, after a hard life of serious injuries, american football, nhb fighting and pro wrestling. Ken was done after the frye fight - in fact both were, and all else after is immaterial. Fact tho - ken vs tito saved the UFC. Ken has a lot to be proud of, and was a far better fighter than ppl give credit for (once #1 lb 4 lb)

  • i agree

  • @TheAjdam you 're a stupid hater just do 1/72 that ken did and then you'll progress from hater to douche state, seems that you're pretty jealous of his muscles ( 0_0 why??) and his huge talent, you're a quitter who acts like a kiddo go rethink about all your failures in your wc but don't put your complexexs on youtube that's over pathetic .

  • agree whit theajdam ken shamrock is wortless

  • not if ur an MMA fan - ken did a lot for the sport in the 90s, not just fightin either

He also did charity work that was kept quiet, for children etc

  • what?

you just don't say that about someone who founded something as great as Pancrase

  • Pangreas is great and I thank ken for that but he just doesn´t stand a chance against todays fighters

  • when ken fought tito he was over the hill.

she should have semi retired from that point but money is a lure.

if tito had of fought ken in early days it may have been different.

  • those commentators suck! good fight tho

  • yes for some reason in the PRIDE GP2000 they had some awful commentators.

  • i swear to god they ruined this fight for me

  • MMA should be in the olympics!!!

  • @GrungeZeppelin There couldnt be any tournaments cause fighters cant go fight after fight

  • the olympians would have too

  • @GrungeZeppelin It is its called the UFC.

  • this was one of Ken's best fights, the Don Frye fight was good too

  • Shamrock vs Coleman would have been interesting if they fought in 1996/97. Around that time, Ken may have gotten the upper hand. However, anytime after 2002, I'd give a significant advantage to Coleman. Coleman came close to beating Fedor in 2004, and twice destroyed Don Frye. In 2009, Coleman would easily get the win.

  • I agree, they signed in 2000 though and I would give the advantage to Ken. The fight with Frye in 02, the heart palpitations vs Fujita etc, just took the 'A grade' right outa Ken, and he never got it back

  • i think that ken was still an a grade fighter after the fujita fight. other then the torn acl he had during the don frye fight he looked awesome. oh and btw thanks for all the ken shamrock videos! that dude is the best and is my favorite fighter.

  • came close to beating Fedor? I think I saw defferent fight

  • at 2:00 when alexander spun i would have kicked him in the back of the head lol

  • mark coleman won cause shogun was gonna put him in a hold and broke his own arm bitch!

  • he tripped over and broke his arm no hold involved

  • SO GOOD

  • It's unfortunate, age caught up with Ken early. Mark Coleman is the same age as Ken, and can still go toe to with Shogun and pulled off a victory over Bonner. Somehow Mark Coleman vs en Shamrock seems like an interesing fight. They never crossed paths in their prime. Should make for an interesting fight. I'd have my money on Coleman.

  • lol, thought you put boner for a sec XD

  • Ken signed to fight Coleman in Pride, shame it didnt happen, I doubt Mark could have beaten him, and it would have made Kens comeback seem a lot better before the decline at the end

  • Shamrock travels with more people that anyone I have ever seen.

  • 1.55

    what???

    this aint pro wrestling otsuka???

    LOL

  • I like how it says "Diet Butcher" on the back of Otsuka's shorts.. Hehe.

  • Great fight here, I love how this is a battle between two great fighters who had huge success in wrestling aswell (Otsuka works for BattlARTS, an AWESOME worked shoot-styke promotion).

  • Ken Shamrock was awesome!

  • This fight shows Ken at his most versatile, a decent display of Kens overall abilities of Punching, Kicking, and Ground work

  • I agree, he had a great muay thai & sprawl game

People say his comeback was doomed because the game evolved etc, but really he looked fine for his first 3 fights. Only in the Fujita fight (who he dominated) he had heart palpitations, and then had a war with Frye, tore his ACL and never looked the same. Tito x3, Franklin et al followed

  • damn ken looked badass. he's a beast tho. i think that he can beat most light heavies and heavies who arent top tier guys. i trained with him for a few weeks and the guu was tossing around guys his size and bigger

  • actually he is possibly the most UNDERrated fighter of all time, along with Igor Vovchanchyn. You dont realise that from winning the KOP tournament and King of Pancrase openweight title right through his UFC Superfights up to retirement, Ken was the best fighter in the world. This is a "no noobs" video

  • Ken is a really respectable guy. When he knocked down Otsuka he didn't immediately jump on him and keep hitting him like most fighters would do. He simply waited, and then punched him once to show the referee that the fight was over.. That's what I call respect.

  • shammy ftw!

  • lol u dont mind he beat clifton?
