  • I love the editing in this video, and this guy is famous in my book

  • That was a very pleasant twist to the things I'm used to hearing. I'm more familiar with the localized sense of change and influence from "shapeshifting" but I may have to go and expand on my practices.

  • Chaos Magick is a very personal approach to the Cosmo and Psyche phenomenom. As I like to explain it: If ,as the astrologist say, obvserving the cosmos can tell you things about yourself, then it might be true that looking inward (psyche) should teach you about the cosmos.

Then thinking of that. If you alter the cosmos, psyche will be affected (duh) So What I say is that if you can shape your psyche, will it affect the cosmos.

    I beleive so.

  • I agree with you, I like the label Chaos Magick because it does not impose any belief system or silly rules on my behavior. Magick might not ought be called Magick at all, for what it really is.For me it describes the collections of lessons learned in life on how to read, influence, or purely manipulate situations or people for my own benefit or even to their benefit. I have had some things happen that I can put no scientific cause to, that does not mean I believe in boogeymen in the closet.

  • umm i havent done any majic yet but i really want to so im gonna ask dose this stuff really work PLEASE RESPOND

  • What's your Zodiacal sign?

  • @GoeticThaumaturgist Cancer, I grow on people :)

  • @BespokeGroupUK Scorpio. The Occult has been very intruiging. I've watched your videos to help me with a lot of my own 'studies' (glamorized word, for me sitting alone in my bedroom reading pdf files, drawing sigils, and plastering them all over my wall, trying to hide from the christian upbringers who would 'burn me at the stake' if they ever found out.) but, I've been reading a lot of Solomons 'lesser, and greater keys' Um, John Dee, and Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, I'm so confused.

  • @GoeticThaumaturgist Then you seem to have been reading religious stuff and not necessarily applying scientific thought to it all. Stick with "The projection of the astral body" muldoon and carrington, "liber null and psychonaugt" peter j carroll and the spiritual healing writings of barbara ann brennan. All he rest is just religions that people have made up.

  • @BespokeGroupUK THANK YOU. muldoon carrington. liber null and psychonaut I've got and it's pretty intruiging. It's hard trying to train your mind like that though, I'm not gonna lie. Laying as still as you can for minutes to hours on end is just....EGH. exhausting (strangely right? lying around could be so 'exhausting')

Thanks. You're putting this to reason is nice. Sometimes I find myself getting lost in the religious aspects.

    Lore. Thanks keep it up!

  • @GoeticThaumaturgist Sad bollocks like this gives everything a bad name. Hiding in your 'bedroom', plastering sigils on the walls, Christian upbringers? Kid... if you want to piss off your parents on the sly then might I suggest black nail polish? Or maybe a new haircut? Solomons keys aren't going to help the uneducated become educated, nor will Agrippa's theory of resonance help to guide your Astrological bullshit.

  • @InundQQQQ Whoa dude. haha. what's with all the hate? I'm just as curious as the next person. Damn. I forgot the internet gives people the right to be an asshole. No, I like this guys videos, he really puts logic to a lot of the practices talked about. And I'm not pissing off my parents. I'm trying to figure out why the world is the way it is, and if I can take more control of myself, and it. If I wanted to piss off my parents, I'd just go smoke.

  • How about the fact that those questions one asks do influence "results"? The fact of involving "scientific observation" does indeed influence the outcome of the practice? How about doing the magic the same way a musician plays an instrument, for the sake of music... I am thinking out loud. Thanks for sharing

  • i'm still lost by that explaination. i heard that you can deify luke skywalker & worship him if you'd like instead of relying on set faiths or belief-systems.been a while.

  • So essentially, we are talking about a postmodern pragmatism with an emphasis on supernatural phenomenolgy?

  • you dont make your vids like this one no more

    best regards

  • @snolliebol I change my style from time to time. i am often hamstrung by time constraints and the need to get a message out

  • Pretty cool. I would define CM as exploring the facts that there is no real distinction between the PSYCHE and ones environment. As far as it working-it does for me-but that depends on WHAT ONE REALLY WANTS-and that is an extension of WHAT ONE IS-when ones will and the universe are in line-whatever happens is RIGHT. (or wrong-or both.).

  • I salute you for figuring this out. This is the power of the human being and it is active and effective whether or not the individual is aware. It must, however, come with a warning. The risk of magic, in my opinion, is that humans rarely know what is truly good for them and thus magic usually comes back to haunt them. The phenomena you have discussed can only truly be beneficial with the right guide - and for this I recommend the holy Quran. It is a flawless model for this application.

  • +1! :}

  • I always enjoy listening to your thoughts, and you have a great way of explaining things. Cheers my friend.....Take Care!

  • 8:30. Too funny! lol

  • what results have you got from magick?

  • @HornetUK1 Strange things happen under some strange circumstances. the apparently supernatural is not to be relied upon as reliable resutls are a fantasy. watch more of my videos or got ot my channel, use the search facility and see what i say

  • @HornetUK1 Things fall off O.o I had them sowed back on but it will never be the same n any idea of having kids now is a pipe dream.

  • Ain'tu got a life??

  • haha this video is so well put together. i'm the kind of person who usually dislikes boring, droll lectures, but you put just enough humor to pique my interest :P

  • my god man you are HILLARIOUS

  • Your comments could also be applied to Science: there have been some stupid experiements; and metaphysics ... as stupid but as necessary as Brick Art

I like to play, and the Results are ...

  • IM A CHAOS MAGICIAN LOL!!! i really like these vlogs sofar, u actually know what you are talkin about.alittle too scientific for my taste, to me science has become its own practice that actually enforces reality which is very bad for getting results.even the laws of physics can be manipulated the same way anything else can, its just realllllly hard.and chaos is a great practice, just has no direction.

  • @ 8.30 Spat my drink out all over computer.

Request more comedy from you, Nick, that was funny.

  • The new age world needs more humor. it needs to laugh at itself as it needs to sometimes

  • I couldn't agree with you more. The Chaos character was spot on.

  • @BespokeGroupUK What really confuses me is that these arts have been going on for such a long time. Yet we still need to experiment with them, or is it that we lost the art of the ancients and must rebuild it?

  • @arishokful The art is the development of the skills. it was never a hard science

  • isnt aleister crowley involved with this kind of magick ? or in what was aleister crowley in

  • he was into hermetic stuff

  • That was Hermeticism and Thelema (which he invented/discovered). Chaos Magick is much newer, but is based on a little bit of everything. A dash of hermeticism, a pinch of shamanism, a sprinkle of Thelemic magick, and trace amounts of satanism, Tantra and other various magickal systems. In chaos magick, you can believe any system you want, as long as it benefits you. That is the defenition of "belief as a tool"

  • Dont foget the shamans drum can induce repeatable common experience

  • Ty for ur perspective, interesting view of chaos magic, ill keep it in mind as an advice for my magical works but im disagree with some of ur perspectives, anyways ty for share ur point of view.

  • (with respect)

My impression is that your approach to magick is very similar to how pharmaceutical treat medicinal plants vs how hollistic practitioners view plants. For instance pharmaceutical companies would find out the chemical active ingredients of the plant isolate it and then patent it as a drug. Where as a holistic practitioner uses the whole plant with the belief that the whole plant is needed to heal. Interesting

  • i guess a combination of perspectives are needed, and all I can do is to give mine. Hope you enjoyed it, and if you didn't, i hope it gave you a different perspective

  • @BespokeGroupUK

Certainly having different perspectives are good. I'm all for that for sure.

btw I do enjoy alot of your videos.

  • The number of cuts in this video make it seem more amateur than if it had been done in one take even with some mistakes. It also indicates an incongruous thought process.

  • Liked it. Thanks.

  • ∞ precisely ∞

  • HOLY SHIT! how did you appear out of thin air? witch!

  • Interesting perspective . Magick is one, culture influences the perspective on this art/science.

  • @insightliviu

I think culture is what creates different egregores.

  • well i am just starded whit it because i heard about it and would like to give it a try

it worked out so far at almost everything only 2 things not(yet?) for the rest i don't realy see why you whis to explain it in sience to those who would like to try it i recomend the book "oven ready chaos" to read and then start to practic something easy like wining a mach or getting a candie or whatever watchout whit curses for backfire but i never had a problem from it so far but my curse didn't worked to

  • Excellent video. Very clear and relatively concise.

  • Sorry but you have a lot of initiating to do.

    One word: ranting

  • fair enough

  • well fine just keep talking then, practice will get you there . That was not a black and white answer. You are over anylizing and not practiscing and using intuition enough.

You can all me black and white, but your being close minded and to assuming.

  • my argument is that we need both. You will recall that I have said that we need positivistic, antipositivistic and introspective analysis. So i do use intuition, but if i am going to be honest, I cant tell someone that an activity "worked" if the evidence is not there. This is an experimental art.

  • This is the exact perspective that I have as well. Excellent video!

  • I think its good how you promote the use of scientific methods, so is it possible to analysehehe) religious techniques from a scientific point of view? If so.......

    What would that look like?

  • Hi Nick! I really like your vids like always. I just recently bought this book called Instant magick my Christopher Penczak. And basically it he explains different forms off magic that you don't really need any physical implements to actually try to create results, just pretty much your imagination, I just thought the book in general was real interesting because he talks about different experiences that happened to him using this type of magick.

  • Cool :)

  • why not just try an invocation of mercury "understanding all sciences, improvement(which could be magick), saturn to gain esoteric knowledge for example.

  • cos i dont think that "it works" in such a black and white manner, and anyway, if you dont learn how to think, all you can do is to act and react like a robot.

  • I totally agree... I think it is about what the human animal can do with energy and consciousness... However I still use all the paraphernalia and conjurations, etc... It can be an Art and such things do work well in directing and focusing the mind in various ways.

  • I like to use tools as well. I find that if I have a physical object to put my intention into, I have a better control of the physical world with my mental manipulation =) plus it's fun as hell to create my own tools and just keep them around as personal programming reminders!

  • Same they do come in handy

  • your cool.

  • Now that I've watched the whole thing, my favorite part is your impersonation of various occultists and their body language.

  • Fun editing!

What do you know about Tim Leary's involvement with the IOT?

  • absoluterly nothing. however he was a promoter of paganism and if he felt that a new cult was to be the new religion of the future then he was the kinda guy who would get involved with it.

  • I think his involvement with the IOT creates another avenue for understanding psychonautical experimentation. His radical "advertisements" of altered perception and chaos theory offer a deeper insight to entheogenic gnostic experimentation.

  • Phil Hine's definitely one of my faves, his websites got some great stuff on it as well.

  • Yeah! First comment and rating! I found this to be very interesting as all of your videos are.
