The first half of the film was good and interesting, but what ruined it for me was the second half. The movie slowly became laughable. Going into the Further was interesting but some scenes didn't seem necessary. Then seeing the Demon finally was a let down. It probably would have been better to never have seen the Demon. The face make-up and hooves were just ridiculous to me. Overall it was interesting but not the best to me. Thanks for the review! Good luck this semester
I'm glad I listened to your review on this film because when I'm choosing a horror I tend to go for 15 or 18 certificates. Totaly agreed though, too more gore can get boring and the SAW films were bordering on gore boredom. Anyway good review and definitely considering buying this film.

Great review. I'm usually not a HUGE fan of horror films, but I think Insidious looks creepy. I would LOVE to see it some time.
It's great that you're doing some more movie reviews. Can't wait to see some of them in the future.
