  • i do this journey soooo often i wish it only took 2 mins!

  • Mesmerising.

  • Train drivers windscreen needs cleaning !!

  • uh, London to Brighton in 2:18

  • Brighton's a shithole.

  • @Rattlesnakemeuk funny, as you could tell an American like me that Brighton was a whimsical, magical town and we'd be none the wiser.

  • The government should buy some of those Japanese speed trains. Then the journey would be like that.

  • Wow.

  • great work Thanks

  • amazing i became dizzy and i counted 6 tunnels

  • I never got why People who go to London often end up taking the train down to Brighton... There's nothing to do there at all.

  • @fluffymole0913 Seriously? Have you ever been to the lanes? Gone to the piers? Restaurants, beaches, mini golf, clubs, aquarium etc? There is loads to do there

  • @SataNickBassist Once you've been there it will never amaze you again. Southend is probably better than Brighton...

  • @fluffymole0913 I've been going for 18 years and I still look forward to going. If you do live in London, the sea is somewhat hard to come by so it is nice to go

  • @SataNickBassist I do live in London and the British seaside resorts bore me.

  • @fluffymole0913 Maybe you have to slow down and enjoy the little things

  • @SataNickBassist Or maybe I just prefer the city sights and the wonders of nature.

  • who the fuck would want to go to Brighton? It's a shithole.....EAGLES!!!

  • jumpin' someone else's traaaaaaainnnn!!!!!

  • Love the video, hate your stupid watermark.

  • One of the best i've seen!

  • Great! That's the way I'll take in August: Madrid-London-Brighton. So, I hope in fact that the train gone calmly than this. Lol

  • that was kinda trippy on my eyes watching that lol

  • what speed do you think that would be going 50miles in 2 min's

  • @DenisHuaHin average 1500MPH

  • what speed do you think that would be going 50miles in 4 min's

  • awesome! music is really cool) and all those green landscapes are beautifull))

  • If only the real journey was this fast,

forget Birmingham - we need a hi-speed link

  • wish it was that fast!

  • i would love to take a ride on this train.. there better be seatbelts on it though.

  • 3d with 3d glasses... i would love that

  • Nice work! This almost makes me feel nostalgic for what's mostly a very boring train journey :)

  • Very interesting video, of rather better technical quality than the version of 'London to Brighton in 4 minutes' that I have.

The Brighton line does look pretty impressive with its engineering and the number of trains that it has running.

  • I've never seen so many trains running so quickly before :') if only it were real; they could be making up for usual service :L

  • i kept expecting the train to crash...

  • that was really good

  • Really cool video. I like how you can see the Battersea Power Station in the beginning. (Pink Floyd fans should understand why.)

  • 4! hundred! miles! hour! head! spinning! eyes! crossed! ....oi! good video though.

  • very good job! I wish i have a chance to watch it without the watermark.Bravo

  • was this the only sunny day england has each year?

  • awesomage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i prefer deadmau5 music is great

  • I Feel Like Im On The Night Bus.....

  • So cool seeing everything from the front of the train and the music is perfect for the clip too.

  • I do this commute every day, this video is how fast the journey should be..! lol

    If Carlsberg done train travel.......

  • I do this commute every day, this video is how fast the journey should be..! lol

  • Music videos should' be this exhilarating. Wicked man loved it!

  • really cool

so how long was it really

  • First rate!

  • rush hour looks almost doable. You wouldn't have to complain about the lack of seat.

  • if normal traveling times were this fast, life would be sweet

  • love the soundtrack, well synchronised with the footage. beautiful journey

  • grsdfgsdfg

  • Cool!

  • Lovin' the tunnels

  • It would be good if that was the actual speed of the trains!

  • I like it when you go into tunnels its like SWooooSH :)

  • Nice vid, i like vids like this with the driving and all

  • wow this is so trippy man

  • love song!!!

  • Now that's RAPID transit, indeed!

  • music?

  • very nice, good work, does this mean you hold the world record?

  • @mervinwrites When you finally get to brighton it's like this here...see my music video for Brighton on my page

  • I'm going to be moving to Brighton this september on exchange!! How long is the train ride to London??

  • @jerms88 one hour ish, maybe just under

  • @jerms88 Kidding though:D

  • @jerms88 2 minutes lol hahha

  • There's just no way the train could have hold that spees in the turns.

  • @zonyy That's because the video was sped up.

  • @zonyy The video is sped up...

  • this is cool.I made this journey by rail for the first time the other day,,I adore time lpse photography...groovy sounds too..who is it by?

  • EXELENT MUSIC AND SOUND!

  • ive done this rout lots off times

  • Amazing!

  • Awsome!

  • this is incredible, especially the last 10 seconds where the train is pulling into brighton. Fantastic

  • That was very nice - thanks!

  • The music is awesome !! :)

  • yea.. does anyone know the name of this music?

  • this vid goes under my house!:) 1min 54 for all those SAD people who watched this video (including me)

  • If only trains really went this fast... :( It would actually be worth the ride with the hobo with swine flu.

  • A journey that I've taken far too many times to count!

  • Wow. I would love to watch this at a movie theater!

  • crazy, how u do the music synk with video events?

  • the tunnels rock!

  • how long does it really take?

  • i think it takes like 40 mins but im not sure

  • 51 mins if you get the one that only stops at Croydon.

  • 50 min. ride.

    1st stop- clapham junction,

    2nd stop- croydon,

and brighton. i always travel on this line and this movie made by BBC long time ago..

  • does it rly only take 2;17min to get from london to brighton

  • addictive.

  • People should post these kind of travel videos on google maps so that everybody can checked how is it like.. how roads are etc. it would be helpful

  • GREAT VIDEO

  • well ,i know that the normal frame rate of the normal cameras are 30 FPS ...ore 15? but 30 in most times...

  • 25 FPS for NTSC (US)

    30 FPS PAL (UK)

And the recommended FPS for HD is 60

  • pals 25fps ntsc is 30fps....

  • Yep, that's the one! I always get them mixed up. I edit movies daily too...

  • yeah its easily done

  • Just wait 'til QHD comes out, YouTube's only just started supporting 1080P HD...

  • Ace video ......

  • Being a traindriver(?) might not be such a bad job after all. Looks max on sunny days like this.

  • lol, imagine how much memory he must have on his camera!, Nice vid 5*

  • Great video

  • cool ;o

  • amazing.

  • cool 50 mins to 2minutes

  • is tht weird background shape a bug tht got merkd on the camera!??!?!?!

  • No, it's the watermark (logo) for Lobster Pictures.

  • Very cool, love the music

  • Very nice! Are you a train driver or did they just let you put your camera there? If so, I might try doing the same sort of thing.

  • WOW that was amazing i cudnt take my eyes off the sceen i was my own little world for that whole 2mins and 17secs thanks for uploading

  • I'll just walk it me.

  • can you guys imagine how long will it take to build all the rail way ?

  • exellent! thank you

  • keeps freezing for me:(

  • same journey as the clip in the middle of "Rudy" by Supertramp.

  • Does anyone know how long it takes to get from london to Bray by way of train?

  • Normal time is about 45 minutes, if it's a 2 minute film about 22 1/2 times. Must be touching a top speed of about 2,200 mph. if a train left London and another left Brighton at 10am, they would be passing at 10.01 am. Of cause if they were on the same line, what a bang! Don't bare thinking about.

  • @oldfart4751 are you trying to recreate the big bang ? haha ;)

  • *quiver*

    *shake*

just a bit too fast. Still recovering.

  • Very Very good...

  • so what the actual hour to get to Brighton from London?

  • how long is the london to brighton journey on a train?

  • from clapham junction - 45 minutes.

  • this makes me sad for some reason like i missed out on so much of my life :'<

  • like it but that bug looking thing is really distracting.

  • Very good

  • How many times this is sped up?

  • I really enjoyed that. I used to live in Haywards Heath, go to university in Brighton and gigs in London so it's a really familiar journey for me.

Since moving to the Netherlands the thing that always strikes me travelling from Gatwick back to HH to see my family is how green England is, even this bit of the over-developed southeast.

  • Brilliant!

  • thats kinda cool

  • amazing........it reminds me of my journey in the last year

  • huh, iliketrains song londontobrightonat700mph is also 2 minutes long... and it even fits this vid!

  • Total star guitar ripoff; the music even sounds the same!

  • curved platform is strange at brighton station. but good work keep it up

  • so cool. more of these would be cool.

  • This is brilliant :) The music is really nice. Good job :)

  • From soho down to brighton you must have played them all.

  • thats amazing! great idea

  • That was awesome! I took this train trip last year and it was good reminder!!!!

  • Nice , Thanks for making it.

  • im sure this is fake. it takes longer than 2 mins

  • yew maik me lul

  • O giosh

  • why does shit always have to be fake with certain assholes like you?

why cant you just enjoy the video or just keep your fucking mouth shut?

  • well in ur case keep ur fingers off the keyboard and on the mouse and keep clicking.

    just click away

  • Very, very cool.

  • Totally mesmarising great,smashing,super

  • loved it btw!

  • In colour and no cut away shots of the driver to change the film. Still the original was 4 minutes long ;-)

  • Wow that was wicked! :) Nice vid!

  • I really wish you would upload this in high quality. Theres no other video like this on youtube.

  • There's a video like this on the Pascask Valley Line,Main/Bergen County/Port Jervis Lines,North Jersey Coast Line and the Morristown Line. But all of these lines are for New Jersey Transit.

  • Just a reference to time lapse train journeys, take a look at "Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar" music video with a very similar feel.

  • oh my god! the last few years of searching for this song has come to an end, thanks to you!!!! i did not know it was chemical brothers!! thank you!

  • i love this!

if only the ride were only 2 minutes!

  • amazing! i really like london

  • If you look close in the back ground, you can see the lobster from the logo to his channel. Anyway, cool video!

  • I miss brighton too!

    Great music with this

  • must be Clapham Junction at 40 sec?

  • No Kuggar, East Croydon that was ;)

Clapham Junction was the first stop :)

  • Ah ha :P

  • fantastic vid thanks, i was looking to see if that one that is on the simulator at the national rail museam can be found on youtube and i stumbles on this. very good!

  • wow. you get totally hypnotised by the rhythm of the tunnels and train tracks. Good stuff.

Wish I could watch in on a big screen and in unbelievable HD

  • I miss Brighton!

  • cool tune, plus an exellent vid.
