It's amazing how much of a better job Jeremy Davies did as Manson than Steve Railsback- this guy (Davies) studied for two years to portray Manson, amazing. Railsback with his squeaky high voice only did that impression, Davies went into several of Manson's dispositions....no comparison, the new Manson is the best

The guy in the scene is legendary Beach boys member Dennis wilson. and thats what motivated charlie to send the "family" to tates home. TO KILL MELCHER.who recently moved out.. I thing this film lacks the grim mood that has both the Manson documentary of 1972 and that ingenious docu-horror film Charlie's Family from 2003. Plus the choice of music is so wrong. Beach Boys? Santana? Give me a break. Those movies had a psychedelic score, mostly composed of Manson's own songs.

I haven't seen this movie yet but it obviously distorts the facts heavily as do all Manson-based films, which is largely due to many discrepancies in the retellings of the events by various people, but when Manson showed the bullet to Dennis Wilson, Wilson did not cower, he beat the shit out of Manson. It happened in front of several hip happenin' people, Manson just weeping after Dennis pummeled him.
