This is awesome man. I can't wait for spring. I am in Canada. Might be getting a real forge soon for like 80 bucks. Good deal right?! I'm 13 and I'm just getting into armoring, but I made a knife before too. Not a RR spike knife though. This is awesome though. I love your setup.
Excellent stuff, my first forge was in my folks barn. The biggest thing I made there was a pretty big water dragon weather vein, problem was I hadn't measured the door opening and had trouble getting it out of the workshop.
cool man, more power to you continue the craft and you will be great one day, who knows you might bring it back as a trend all i can say is you got to get people in the kaoa because thats the only way to get people REALLY interested
kidsmith hey dude you're great im 16 and just getting into it....i might post some vids...but dont go japanese....when you start smithing japanese stuff you start straying from the real smithing! but other than that we should team up with some ideas! great work!
when you quench the steel what do you use water, a brine solution,or oil, and maybe when you get your new forge down you should keep the old one for smelting and get a smelting cup that would complete your shop
