I was looking for a good camera to buy, especially for a beginner like me, and the piano picture speaks for itself - rili guhhhhd! I'm glad I came by your video. thanx!! I'll tell my sister to buy it for me!
Not sure if you're just showing pictures, or you're trying to show the quality of the pictures, if you're trying to show the quality of the pictures, it would be best to put them in HD mode.
Hey Panada very nice presentation and pictures, u know i too love the Micro mode and exactly for the same reason, like when u picture a flower from very close and you discover that it contains inside lots of small small flowers.. this makes me so happy that i noticed somthing so beautiful & hidden.
To not be a professional you really give an outstanding presentation girl. I have hundreds of cameras being a collector as well as a professional photographer, but I only use a few for different things. The E510 and E520 are so awesome!
To change the time exposure when in the manual mode, you need to turn the thumbwheel
while looking at the lcd data screen. you can set the shutter speed anywhere between bulb (as long as shutter is depressed) and 1/4000th of a second. I usually bracket two or three shots to determine the optimum setting and then continue shooting at that shutter speed as long as the lighting remains the same.
The camera will retain it's settings when turned off.
Thanks for the reply and info. My mind is now made-up and the E510 will be bought. I'm hoping it drops a little in price, if the E520 was announced soon then I'm sure it would otherwise my credit card might just have to take the whack.
Your pics at the end looked good, especially the piano one, happy shooting!
Im pretty much convinced about getting the same camera, glad you like it. Do you use the image stabiliser a lot? I was thinking about getting the newer smaller 420 but it doesnt have this feature and wondered if I should consider it a deal-breaker.
i've use it a lot... i feel like it's one of those things that you'd think you wouldn't need and then the first time you go to use your camera you'll wish you had it.
hi there today i picked up my first slr camera the e510 hopefully im am as happy as you with it ; ) so now im looking on you tube for lesson on here how to use it, but it sound like i picked a good camera, cheers
Hey Manda, I've just seen this video, and I've got a question for you... Hi and Low keys, are programs or options that work even in Manual mode?! I know Pentax has this as an option, that you can use even on M mode, but I'd like to know if it's the same on Olympus...
PS: Can I post your video on my photography website?!
