If i saw my soldiers lose a battle on my own land id pick up the guns off the fallen and pick up where they left off. Its only natural to keep an eye on civvies because you can never be sure when theyll snap and go postal on your guys.

People come up to you in Iraq all the time. You're not supposed to be super trigger happy, as in give warnings. Build bridges, not destroy them and needlessly killing civilians will just fuel the insurgency and cause more American deaths, which means more mothers crying and babies growing up without fathers.
