all you people who love horses and love this movie are aware that several horses died horribly during the making of this film? just making that clear.
@ilexi6196 did i make it that unclear? i dont think i did. in the rodeo scenes several horses died painfully (including one that was kicked in the face by another horse after it fell down and had spasms and another that was shot for breaking its leg) and the trainers punched the horses to make them obey commands. it was attacked by animal rights groups and you wont see the 'no animals were harmed' tagline...
@jtandcolleenaaf its pretty common knowledge that peta had a huge campaign against the agency that deals with the tagline "no animals were harmed during the making of this film" (which you wont see in the credits) because they were doing dodgy deals with the producers of flicka to cover it up. search it on google or wikipedia it. it makes me sick to know bastards like this are making sentimental films with so much corruption and abuse behind the scenes.

My dad, miss him so much. He died the day before my 37th bday. He died from complications from Vietnam. He gave me the best direction and my family is very grateful. He was a great person. xoxo dad

I love th emovie Flicka! It's my favorite horse movie and I've seen over 30 horse movies. The song is great, it reminds me of my stallion and me when were riding together, I love him soooo much!

@MattsCowgirl My parents thought my sister and i were boys! Then another sonogram said we were one of each, THEN, when D-Day came, my dad was shocked to find out we were both girls. He has a son who's 10 years older than us.

@teerah003 i kinda feel bad for people that don't live like me kinda and what i mean by this is my life at my dads is kinda like that :) i have my ranch with all my kids ( animals) but i don't have it all the time cuz i live with my mom not my dad :/ so when people say shit like that i hope that if you ever get that i hope you are ready for the big happyness in your life :)..............

This song breaks my heart! I love my dad so much, he's just made a lot of mistakes and I know that he doesn't think I love him. I just keep praying that he'll wake up one day and realize what he's done and that he can fix it... He's in really bad shape healthwise, and my worst fear is that he won't be able to walk me down the aisle here in a few years.. :"( I love you daddy. I forgive you.

@ilexi6196 did i make it that unclear? i dont think i did. in the rodeo scenes several horses died painfully (including one that was kicked in the face by another horse after it fell down and had spasms and another that was shot for breaking its leg) and the trainers punched the horses to make them obey commands. it was attacked by animal rights groups and you wont see the 'no animals were harmed' tagline...

@jtandcolleenaaf its pretty common knowledge that peta had a huge campaign against the agency that deals with the tagline "no animals were harmed during the making of this film" (which you wont see in the credits) because they were doing dodgy deals with the producers of flicka to cover it up. search it on google or wikipedia it. it makes me sick to know bastards like this are making sentimental films with so much corruption and abuse behind the scenes.
