This is kinda similar to MapleStory's own Spiegelmann's Monster Carnival. Except the monsters are generated by opposing players and GM's only monitor what's going on in the arena instead of being there and spawning. The prizes you can get are pretty sweet too. A couple thousand experience, Maple coins (used to buy high lvl equips), other stuff that would eventually clutter our inv. and force us to sell some off to make room for more.

ive played this game for a while. it got boring after lvl 44, so i stopped. i managed to get enough gold to buy to get a pet, a costume, and hair dye, so i felt like i playted this game to the fullest (although i never hit 3rd, 4th, or 5th promo but i don't wanna waste years of my life playing this lol)
the game is free and i was here there was also anouther event where sum gms just randomely sed all come to the arena and there was like a lvl thing were the winner of like 1-35 lvl would get a prize and so on it was soooooooo funny especialy when a lvl 35 was a gm bit unfair huh ? >< :D
im getting very pissed i was lv 74 swordmen on the viet version and they shut down man that sucks if this happened to you tell me
