Most people who are really good in reviewing or commenting about games in my opinion like for some reason Nintendo games. Is it ironic that because in my opinion Nintendo does make great quality consoles and games and only lake mostly in good 3rd Party games, grafics and memory. And I am honest there is no game out on the PS3 or Xbox360 what I am interested in even today. I used to love Dragonball Games and the last 1 I played was BT3 and none of the new once come close to its awesomeness.

Earthbound (and the Mother series), according to Nintendo, has small riffs of songs, and they aren't re-releasing/localizing it because they don't wanna get sued. Only the diehard fans would notice the similarities, and the demand's high. Hell, they localized Fire Emblem after Super Smash Bros Melee, mainly because us Americans didn't know who Marth and Roy were. Why the cocktease of Mother 3 in Brawl if it's not going to be localized? At least there's a translation patch in ROM form.
Hey moviebob, you may have thought of this, or it may not be possible, but I just had a cool idea. Instead of creating a external memory like they did for the N64 and Gamecube, how about having a program that sets aside a few blocks of memory to record a history of the games you've purchased and downloaded. This way, you can delete the game from your memory, but if you ever want to get it back, the record of the transaction is still intact, so you don't have to pay to download it again.
I know, that's what Xbox does, it's connected to your profile on there. When I bought my new 360 and recovered my old gamertag on it, it had a record of all the Xbox Live Arcade games I had downloaded, and I could go back and download them all again without rebuying them. There's no reason why Nintendo couldn't do this with Miis or something.

Sunshine was pretty good, whereas the Wind Waker was an instant classic. But a Zelda Mario crossover...well...if it actually worked it'd be like a Godsend.

You felt Super Mario Galaxy was too similiar to Super Mario 64? Really? Super Mario Sunshine was far more similiar to Super Mario 64 than Galaxy was. Galaxy's levels were more linear, and you couldn't dawdle to admire the view 90% of the time - unlike Super Mario 64 and Sunshine, where all the levels were free-roaming. Super Mario Galaxy was more like a SMB game in 3D - the stars were basically flagpoles. Sure, you'd get the occaisional "collect this" mission, but they weren't common in Galaxy.

Super Smash Kart. think about it, using all the different characters to race, and instead of using randomized weapons that give an unfair advantage to whoever gets the best weapon first, known as "Mario Kart Syndrome", have each character have special abilities and weapons. i would love to race Samus against mario and link.
A mario/zelda crossover would quite possibly the best game of all time. Smash bros on ds with classic sprites would kick ass two. or maybe, highly detailed new 2d sprites. that would be better.

I'm just going to point this out: Most people don't like Super Mario 64 out of nostalgia. They like it because the controls are excellent, the camera very well done, and the bosses and characters to be very entertaining. I know this because I'm one of those people. I play through SM64 every now and then and I have no problems with the controls or camera. If you honestly think a game like Sm64 has bad controls... then I really don't know what to tell you, other than 'have you played Bubsy 3D?'
Even if mario 64 IS overrated (I haven't palyed it in years so I can't remember enough to judge) Galaxy is NOTHING like 64. It's longer, there's more level variety, and bowser is more badass.

Quite simple it's a 3D platformer with almost the same controls and some of the power ups.
All the difference it in the gravity physics.

He was doing it because he was being labeled a fan boy and didn't want to seem like he thought Nintendo was infallible. So he was doing it more because he thought he should do it more than because he was serious or mad.

Great episode. I loved Nintendo, I was born during Nintendo. Ever since the grey box, I was hooked. But now,all the crap games they've been making, I've gone to the Xbox 360. I've been there since was two years old, I was only Nintendo. Yes, good games such as Zelda and Mario still live. But... where are other things? I'm sorry Nintendo. Ever since you won't allow Fatal Frame 4 in America, you lost me. I can't believe in you anymore.
(PS: Nintendo IS my main choice of portable games.)

Sunshine was pretty good, whereas the Wind Waker was an instant classic. But a Zelda Mario crossover...well...if it actually worked it'd be like a Godsend.
And EarthBound on the DS? Hell fucking yes. If you haven't played EarthBound, STOP TORTURING YOURSELF AND DO IT ALREADY!
Also, smash on the DS is a great idea. And how's about Nintendo makes a Bowser game for once? Who else is sick of the plumbers & wants to fight against them [or at least as their arch-nemisis?]

You felt Super Mario Galaxy was too similiar to Super Mario 64? Really? Super Mario Sunshine was far more similiar to Super Mario 64 than Galaxy was. Galaxy's levels were more linear, and you couldn't dawdle to admire the view 90% of the time - unlike Super Mario 64 and Sunshine, where all the levels were free-roaming. Super Mario Galaxy was more like a SMB game in 3D - the stars were basically flagpoles. Sure, you'd get the occaisional "collect this" mission, but they weren't common in Galaxy.

u know what im waiting for? Super Smash Kart. think about it, using all the different characters to race, and instead of using randomized weapons that give an unfair advantage to whoever gets the best weapon first, known as "Mario Kart Syndrome", have each character have special abilities and weapons. i would love to race Samus against mario and link.

A mario/zelda crossover would quite possibly the best game of all time. Smash bros on ds with classic sprites would kick ass two. or maybe, highly detailed new 2d sprites. that would be better.

The problem you described at 3:30-4:30 has already begun, especially with Super Mario Galaxy 2.
While it certainly won't be a bad game, I won't buy it because it looks like more of the same, and I didn't finish (nor do I want to) Mario Galaxy 1.

I'm sorry but (I'm not going to say anything about TP and OOT because I don't know anything them) caliing Mario Galaxy a Mario 64 clone is wrong because Mario 64 IS OVERRATED SUCKAGE! WAIT! Don't flame me yet but I understand it was innovative for it's time and it was the first 3D platformer but I will not let NOSTALGIA hide horrible controls , a pain in the ass camera and crap bosses make for one smeg sandwich. Galaxy fixed these problems and you don't like it!?

I'm just going to point this out: Most people don't like Super Mario 64 out of nostalgia. They like it because the controls are excellent, the camera very well done, and the bosses and characters to be very entertaining. I know this because I'm one of those people. I play through SM64 every now and then and I have no problems with the controls or camera. If you honestly think a game like Sm64 has bad controls... then I really don't know what to tell you, other than 'have you played Bubsy 3D?'

Even if mario 64 IS overrated (I haven't palyed it in years so I can't remember enough to judge) Galaxy is NOTHING like 64. It's longer, there's more level variety, and bowser is more badass.

I dont consider you a nintendo fanboy because you never bash the company, I consider you a fanboy because you constantly bash Sony and Microsoft, specifically their games, even though you havent really played any. I seriously doubt youve completely played halo 3 or any halo games for that matter, yet you label it as the #1 over-rated franchise.
It is considered "cool" to hate on something that is popular, and I definitely think you get caught in the hate.

Halo; a good game, but does nothing new, different, or remotely stellar that games like Quake didn't already do. Yet somehow the franchise got so insufferably huge, and three games later there was still no innovation or anything worthwhile.
Tell me, why does Halo not deserve criticism?

I dnt think Nintendo made Halo. So writing about Halo in a letter to Nintendo is kinda useless. SN - Halo implementation of regenerating health and its stellar multi-player component make it the juggernaut it is today.

Ok so what your saying is Halo gave us the gameplay capability to sit around with our thumbs up our ass while our health recharges? That's not new, plenty of games did that before, like Capcom's Monster Hunter.
And stellar multiplayer? Quake had awesome multiplayer before it, and I'm afraid it doesn't take a lot of effort to create a game mode where people run around and shoot each other or capture a flag.

I did mean their where 1st to market I meant they did it better than anyone else at the time and more people enjoyed it. IMO Killzone 1 and Kill.Switch had better health systems. And from what I'm told more people pla halo than quake so quake must be doin something wrong if they get outsold by an unoringinal title?

How can you utilize health regeneration better than anyone else? That's a completely idiotic argument. As is arguing about maintaining your vitality in any form since if you have any sense you won't be getting your ass shot up.
I forgot to mention that along with Quake there was Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Turok, and a few others with excellent multiplayer. And what's your point? More people played Crash Bandicoot than NiGHTS into Dreams, but that doesn't make it a better game now does it?

Well their is a rumor that there is no master sword in the next Zelda game (that producer guy (I think he is miyomoto) hinted at it, and the concept pic didn't have a sword) so it looks like they are doing something different.
Although SMgalaxy2 will be smg1.5 (even Miyomoto said so)

Yes, you do have issues, but not alot. I mean, you video usually run 10 minutes with more often than not, scenes fast forwarded to fit in the time limit. This was only 6 minutes long
