love that turn at around the 8 minute mark..earlier you mentioned about the price of the hotel and a few laps! fooknig expensive but it looks so worth it..driving to germany from uk is a trip and a half to start with! im sad to ear it got scrapped, what do you have now?

@89x237 No matter how we plan it..it always breaks the £700 mark, we might just get carried away...it is without doubt the best test of a driver and a car. I scrapped it because the parts were worth more that way, real shame as it was a great car...just time to move on I guess.

Believe it or not, the EP raised enough cash for me to buy a TVR Tamora, so that's now sat in my garage and is due at the Ring in August. I also bought a RS 172 Cup for some fun.

not being funny but wtf are those metal rubbing noises on corners as it doesnt sound like the tyres? ?

The car hadn't been tested properly since the suspension was set up. That sound is the tyres rubbing on the arch in the corners. When I got back to the UK I replaced the arches with FRP ZEP items that are flared to solve the problem.

@uknowwatimsayin Sadly that's the last trip I ever made in the EP. The car has now been stripped and scrapped. I'm glad I made that trip :) since then the Ring has been on the calender every year.

How much did it cost you to get to Germany and how did you get there?

better late than never...a fairly luxury trip in the Lindner Congress hotel with 8 laps on the ring over 3 days is about 900quid

Lap time was around 10.20. Bear in mind it was our first trip to the ring, first time the car had been used on track :S and I'd come off on the previous lap so wasn't exactly giving the car what it had to offer.
