  • GOD IS MIGHTY I go to church twice a year to cure my gayness, watch my vid! Thnks

  • The suffering this young man has gone through (and continues to go through) is the result of a segment of our society which still believes it is morally viable to condemn homosexuals, regardless of the harm it causes to these people Thankfully, we're starting to realize that the condemnation itself is the really violation.

  • its his parents. thats the real reason he wants to "pray the gay away"

  • I'm still new to christianity and everything that they believe, but I specifically remember the

bible saying that the first comandment is to love. That's the only difference between a strait person or a gay person. They choose to love different people. Telling people that they are an abomination is not loving someone.

  • I once attempted to pray the gay away, then I took an arrow in the knee.

  • He doesn't have to marry a woman to escape the club scene.

  • poor fella. he's good looking and has a great personality. if only he could accept himself for who he is.

  • This guy's gonna live a miserable life unless he can learn to accept himself. Sure, you can marry a female--but you ain't gonna be sexually attracted to her! So sad.

  • God created man. God created a woman to be his companion. It was His will that a man be with a women. That is as plain as I can say it, and I'm Catholic. Now I hear all these swirling arguments and fights (yes that means you too, pro-homosexuals) that just criticize and mudsling at eachother. If you are going to have a belief, don't compare it to others' beliefs.

  • Must say that I understand where they are coming from. I'm a lesbian and I'm christian, and when people tell you that you are a freak and an abomination before God and they say, "hey I can turn you straight" you bet there are those who would try that out. Hell as a proud lesbian sometimes I've found myself trying to pray away the gay. I wish I wasn't gay, and there are even days when I try to convince myself that I'm not. Like, well I think that guys is cute, maybe I could force myself 2 <3 him.

  • @sillykatz I quickly realize of course that I am gay, and though I may find that man to be cute and good looking, the romantic part will never be there, no matter how hard I pray for it to be!

  • it's so upsetting that he feels like he can "think" himself into being straight. If he just thinks hard enough, if he concentrates hard enough somehow he'll attain that "being with a woman" thing he feels he needs. If you're gay just be gay, forget about what the world thinks - they aren't living your life, they aren't you. This whole gay-to-straight mindset is just completely disgusting to me.

  • @hotwaiter ...Hey Hottie, its nice to know that people like you and me think the same way, I have a daughter who is transgendered my husband and i are so proud of her she has come a long way....we have four other children...they all love and respect her she is the baby of five ....thanks for your kind words you have posted here....God bless you!!!!

  • @31hunnybunch So she was a guy before?

  • It's not about going from gay to straight. It's about not acting out on your own sinful lusts. A person can choose to be celibate and live a more pure life.

  • @MannyDada well...you don't see Christians pushing celibacy on straight people, do you? You're basically saying "it's fine that you're gay, God loves you...but you have to remain alone and single for the rest of your life. But pray for everyone else in this church, that we find an opposite-sex husband/wife and live happily...that's something we can do; and be happy for us! thanks!" It's really absurd. THAT'S the best Christians can offer?

  • "It's not his plan for us"... that gave me chills in my heart....I know what this brother is going through and it....it just rips my up inside because I'm going through it too.

  • Jesus isn’t fooling anyone with that long hair and bath robe!

  • Christian, has it never even occurred to you that Jesus was, in fact, a gay man?

  • You can't change gay best you can do is live a lie and try to hide it. Being proud of who you are rather straight gay lesbian bisexual transexual is much more filling :)

  • If you're reading this, and are considering this ex-gay "therapy" crap in any way, please know something. Even though it's all a sham and doesn't work at all, please know this.

You don't have to change for me. I love you just the way you are. You're good enough for me.

  • @intwinpeaks3 that was nice :)

  • @intwinpeaks3 GOD IS MIGHTY I go to church twice a year to cure my gayness, watch my vid! Thnks

  • God knows who you are and knows how hard your trying to become a person whose trying to follow him.Being gay is something many of us are dealing with and believe me a great number of people closeted or open are trying to change their ways.We are all sinners everyone did a sin at some point of their lives and it is up to us to fight that sin from repeating itself. I pray morning, noon and night and pray everywhere i go because i know the lord has a hold on me and everyone of us.

  • "God does not hate the sinner he hates the sin." This statement is analogous to the asinine retort, "I support the troops but I'm against the war." There is no separation in whole or in part of actions and actors in the same fortuitous line of reasoning. There can be no arbitrary extraction of the same mitigating the outcome.

Personally, religion should be shunned and mocked furiously at every opportunity for the fraud that it is.

  • Such sad, delusional people to constantly judge others and wait for a God who is never coming.

There is no Hell, except for the hell that you "religious" people put everyone else through..

I used to say " GO TO CHURCH, do whatever keep YOU from being a murder, rapist or thief" But now...I just say GET A LIFE ALREADY..Get Out of everyone else's bedrooms FREAKS!

  • God made everyone... straight and Gay... and if a man is Gay.. it IS GODS PLAN for him.... population control...homosexuality can be found in the entire mammal kingdom...its just not obvious to us..

  • Wow, that looks like a good one!! I wonder if it's on ON DEMAND?...

  • I saw it last night and the episode was truley amazing! Christian handled his struggles so honestly in front of the camera and he gave the perfect testimony of how powerful God's love is and his perfect plan for us. Thank you SO much for airing i! He is a fine example of the change God can give to someone if they want it.

  • i have to watch our america: pray the gay away. i hope it will re air agian on own t.v. i really want to find out what happens to christan he's so cute. i dont think you can pray being a homosexual away i belive you are born that way. if thats the case than what about transgender people? are you going to say that are born in their right body even though they think their not. we try to get rid of things that we dont understand as a society. your trying to make them feel guilty .

  • Leviticus 18:22 (New International Version, ©2011)

22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

  • @injesusname2011 To be real honest before heaven & earth...I believe you will be found most detestable not only in Leviticus, but on judgement day! ~Almighty God knows exactly what is in a person's heart, and what truly motivates that person. My happiest moments are in Him alone...& not in one word you repeat in your political & ideological infected poison boasted bean-bag of total enlarged prescription of deteriorating opposed sincerity and true love for Jesus Christ. U have zero achievements!

  • @ernieloveer MAY THE LORD BE OUR JUDGE.

  • @injesusname2011 Indeed.....Not You!

  • I feel so bad for that kid. So much self hatred.

  • You all need to get a life...

How can you believe that god created adam and eve... when half of your religion believes that magic is evil....

Anyone can write a book, there is not %100 proof that any of what is in that book is true.

And being a guy who is Bi, All of you gays need to go about your life. The fact that you even let this phase you is incredibly ignorant of you

    ..

  • @nbollerud2009 You are accurate in a lot you say...thanks-man!!! : - )

  • Real talk. CHOICE. A lot of gay folk hide behind this fact. If you want to be gay be gay. Don't be cowards know it was your CHOICE. Don't hide and blame others for your CHOICE. The people who are on this show that CHOSE not to be gay anymore should not be attacked or judged. Religious guilt has nothing to do with this mans CHOICE. No one made him change it was HIS CHOICE.

  • @onebadgs400 -dude...you totally rock! You tell them! Great job on expressing yourself and telling truth! Thanks!

  • Adam and Eve....Not Adam and Steve. Your cult and organized religion has taught u well. You are and can be a very dangerous human. I've been around people as yourself...and, there is Nothing about you or in you, that I would want, or be anything like! You think you have it all correct, & your Great at judging others, especially anyone who is not like yourself! Nevertheless-You are Not -God. You won't have the last word...I Thank Almighty -God for that! ...YOUR Not a blessing, but a curse...!

  • christian is a cutie

  • God made Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Steve. If being gay way acceptable to God, why can't they procreate? God gave the commandment 5 times in the book of Genesis to be fruitful and multiply. This commandment could only be fufilled by a male and a female.

  • "The soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments and his girdle." 1 Samuel 18:1-4"David loved Jonathan more than women."2 Samuel 1:26 "Ruth loved Naomi as Adam loved Eve."Ruth 1:14

  • nobody should feel like there wrong to be gay. anybody who doesnt accept them think how you would feel

  • Truly, I do understand & appreciate the christian concept. I really do. I carry a fear (respect&no mock) of Almighty -GOD. I trust my very soul into HIS ARMS...and, I'm sorry to say this, the majority of main stream churched

christians can be lost and dead in there sins. No matter what, I must go to

Jesus for everything-& His life on earth to the very end on the cross suffering the worse & most unfair treatment in history. Say what u will... He is God. We are not!

  • Sexuality and Gender Identity are biologically created and are not a lifestyle choice. They can be repressed but not changed. You can no more pray away the gay tham you can pray away having red hair. Certainly, when you choose to be in a relationship you do not act on every sexual feeling or attraction but that does not mean that you can somehow change who and what you are sexually attracted to. This "Reparative Therapy" idea is a joke. Their success rate is abyssmal.

  • @despertad2011 Good thing not everybody derives their idea of God from the New Testament! And, yeah, of COURSE the New Testament will claim that God knows all and God's word is "alive and active". Isn't that like McDonald's telling us that its cheeseburger is cheesy and meaty and the best in the world? It's good marketing. Anyway, we're off on a tangent here. Live and let live. Judge not lest ye be judged.

  • I thought the bible was pretty clear about this subject...

  • @gabby4god Exactly... I don't understand how some people make it so complicated or even try to twisted for their own benefit or for their own understanding. I don't get that??? EXACTLY THE BIBLE IS VERY CLEAR ABOUT THIS SUBJECT AND EVERY OTHER SUBJECT.

  • @despertad2011 Yes, the bible is EXTREMELY CLEAR about the following: (1) Leviticus 25:44: I can possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. Great! Mexico's a stone's throw from here. (2) Exodus 21:7: I can sell my daughter into slavery. Terrific! (3) Exodus 35:2: I can kill anyone who insists on working on the Sabbath. That's not you, is it? Because the bible is "VERY CLEAR ABOUT THIS SUBJECT".

There are many more, but obviously you know that.

  • @TheKaspring preach

  • @gabby4god Oh, it most certainly is! See my response to @despertad2011 and then tell me how soon I can sell my daughter into slavery! Wait a minute...you're not cherry-picking passages from the Holy Bible, are you?

  • @TheKaspring ummm thats the old testament. when jesus came, he removed that law along with many others when he brought in the new covenant. as christians we believe the old has gone and the new has come. thats why we dont need to do stuff like animal sacrifices because of jesus.

  • A classic move! Let's leave aside the fact that not everybody subscribes to the NT, and so to use that text as a means of legislating people's lives violates the principles of a modern democractic society.

Luke 16:17 is very clear about OT laws having to be obeyed. So are many other passages in NT. And in Mark 7:9-13, Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to laws of the OT! Also J. omitted 5 of the Ten Commandments -- so do NT Christians follow only 5?

  • @TheKaspring man, u sure know ur scriptures. haha! but really, luke 16:17 does not say anything about the old testament laws being obeyed. and in mark 7:9-13 jesus is actually pretty clever in his way of dissing the pharisees. the pharisees didnt believe that jesus was who he said he was therefore, they were still under the law of moses. so jesus basically says that if they believe in the law of moses, why dont they do what moses says when he said whoever curses his mother and father should die

  • @gabby4god The standard interpretation of those passages is that Christ is saying that the old laws (i.e., of NT) are forever binding. (Luke 16:17 is all about old laws. Message is that heaven and earth will come to an end before the smallest bit of the old law may be disobeyed.) But even if you don't agree, you can find other passages in the NT that are just as heinous as the ones in the OT. E.g. Romans 1:29-32. By those standards, I don't know any human who isn't worthy of death.

  • @TheKaspring so basically jesus is calling them hypocrites. and idk what ur talking about when u say that christians only follow 5 of the ten commandments...

  • @gabby4god Why would they the 10C if they come from the OT? Is it only because the 10C are cited in the NT? But there they are not cited unadulterated. So again we're cherry-picking. Look, the bible can be interpreted in an infinite # of ways so it doesn't make sense to take a few verses from here or there just to support a homophobic agenda. The only message I can get behind is judge not lest ye be judged. In our society, one is fortunate to not be born into a persecuted minority group.

  • @TheKaspring umm actually ur the one doing all the cherry picking trying to "prove" ur point. look, there really is no point going back and forth like this because i have a refute for literally everything that u try to throw at me. and btw, im am in no way a homophobic. as chrisitians we are called to luv everyone in the same way that jesus did. he loved the sinner but hated the sin. the bible includes passages about homosexuality for a reason. i cant tell u that reason cuz im not God.

  • @gabby4god You also cant tell the reason because there is no god.

  • @TheKaspring but who am i to ignore those passages along with other passages i dont like just because everyone else ignores them? there are things in the bible that we dont wanna hear. but we just gotta swallow that pill called pride and make a choice whether we wanna live according to God's word or do our own thing without it. ok im done:) dont bother replying back cuz i wont answer. <3

  • i am also gay myself, and i really do believe and now because i dont lie to myself, that i was born gay, so you can sit there and say i was born a demand if its a sin because then ur just saying all people are demands because we All sin everyday. i dont know why i dont know how but honestly if there was anything that

  • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (New Living Translation)

19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

  • You know, the Bible should carry a "warning" sticker from Parental Rights groups, advising parents about the sick and illicit content it contains.

Has anyone read the violence in the Bible?

Gay-bashing, daughter-selling, animal-burning, sinner-stoning... It is delightfully evil and violent!

  • Even though he doesn't have sex with men anymore; he still radiates "gay". Oh well...

  • I think that everyone has theyre own opinion obviously this guy doesnt like that hes gay an its his choice but i feel like this tv show is saying o well here r some gay ppl who r trying to be straight and theyre able to be straight but this isnt the case for all gay ppl and i am a lesbian and i have never dreamed about marrying a guy y idk i always thought myself with another women and honestly im rele offended by this tv show and also we cant change ppl and so y try to change us cuz u know th

  • IF EVERYBODY WAS AN ATHEIST DOES WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING

  • This kind of belief (not in God, but that gay is wrong and that God has something to do with it) is one of the reasons organized religion is heading downhill in the first place

  • Poor kid is lost.

  • Since these so called Religious people know so much about God. I'd like to ask...When is he coming again??? I mean, you are all so "certain" that he speaks to you about other people's sexuality...Why hasn't he spoken to you about something that actually relates to YOUR OWN LIFE and belief?????

  • Clearly, this guy is WEAK-MINDED and will fall prey to whatever passes him by!!! He doesn't need God, he needs a psychiatrist!!

  • I'm pretty sure I can learn to write with my right hand over time (I was born left-handed). I am sure with motivation, determination, hard work and perseverance I could learn to write with my left hand. Does that mean that I am now right handed, or just suppressing my inborn, natural tendencies? Second, I know just as many ex-straights as I do ex-gays. I'm not sure what water this holds. You cannot change your inborn orientation all you can do is psychologically damage yourself by trying.

  • He is a brave young man and said it all, that is not God's plan for us! Thanks Christian for standing up and letting it be known that God has a better plan for us all.

God's blessings and favor be on and with you.

  • @happyami102619 Thank you so very much!

  • @happyami102619 Spoken like a true closeted homosexual.

  • @AngelSacrifice hahahahahahaha no darlin I am not. I am a concerned woman of God and wish the best for this young man who has the guts to stand up and say that the gay lifestyle is not what he wants in his life. No one is born that way, it is a choice.

  • @happyami102619 And how would you know?

  • It's annoying when people like him who are so caught up in one type of gay lifestyle - partying sex clubs - that they assume, along with fanatics, that that's the only gay lifestyle.

There is no one gay lifestyle and he's trying to change, like alot of people do, because he thinks there is.

  • @jackukay I AGREE!! From one end of an extreme to another..This guy is hopeless!

  • @jonerhall FYI- no one is hopeless. And, also FYI-You are clueless.

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!

  • I know this-Never wanted to be gay. 20 years i tried to be straight. 20 years of total submission. 20 years of church & prayer & support groups. I dated women. My last girlfriend I was in love with and wanted to marry. I told her that I would always be honest & true. However, she was not to me. I forgave her, & moved on. Nevertheless...i am what I am. I believe we have no clue to anything! I also believe-Jesus-looks at true honesty. No games. No finger pointing. No lil gods. He is Almighty God.

  • But having a choice makes you bisexual.....I think

  • Christian, I love you!! :)

  • God does not hate the sinner he hates the sin if being gay is sin then you should know judging others is also a sin and the only one who has the right to do that is god himself. God loves all of his people btw iam gay and close to the lord I was born gay I did not choose it just like you were born straight

  • @IrishKillerJC awesome!!!

  • @IrishKillerJC You took the words out of my mouth vebatim. I have known Christian since childhood and have a hard time watching this. I hope one day he can be himself without guilt. I'm straight and was raised christian and see no problem with being gay. Life is too short to worry about what others think. Especially when they're present day Pharisees. I don't see how some religious people can point the finger at someone else when they're ones sinning by being judgmental (by their own definition)

  • @IrishKillerJC You need to re-read your bible. God DOES INDEED hate. It's clear as crystal... God says (in one example) "Jacob I LOVED but ESAU I HATED" - ;)

  • @IrishKillerJC My friend, do not confuse judgement and rebuke. To see a brother in error and fail to correct him is not love, it is in fact selfishness. The sin of homosexuality, just like any other sin, is not ok. You cannot chose to live in sin, defying the one you call Lord, and still claim to be "close to God." The Bible tells us that such an arrangment is immpossible.

  • that God's plan is not for his children to be gay , but however He LOVES US ALL...regardless.

i don't know if u have kids. but we all know that plans that parents have for their kids may differ from what they want, but .parents still love their children regardless of their personal live.., that 's what God is . and i repeat again. through the bible..God's plan is us to live in purity and not sodoma and gomora!! it may sound choking but for people who know the truth trough Jesus is the only way.

  • @TheZialoves so why the hell did he make us "flawed" ah so that we'd have to now go back to him to ask to make us good again, what a crock. Wow a powerful being that could create a whole universe but makes imperfect people, what a dud. If you can do great at your job why would you do a bad job and have to constantly be worked over by your boss. I'm just saying; think about it for a while, reeeeeeally think! God makes mistakes allegedly.

  • Start by not going to a priest.

  • That poor poor gay man. Religious guilt has really done a number on him.

  • @Beeht It makes me glad I don't belong to any religion. It is dangerous and puts people down or into a fishbowl.

  • Comment removed

  • @Bobesque , You believe in God because you believe in love.Coz God is love my dear.

  • Comment removed

  • Jesus is God – Why this matters so much

But Jesus and His followers made the truth very clear, as we’ve seen in the pages of the earliest records, concerning who He was and is -- and how imperative it is that we understand and embrace that truth. Look at His sobering words about the vital importance of His identity. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. .

  • @Bobesque But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. . .You do not know me or my Father. . .I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins.”

“. . .Even as He spoke, many put their faith in him. To [them] Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’"

    |" from allboutgod website

  • @TheZialoves Thats why "god" hates gays because he is love.

  • that brow game doesn't lie honayyy, can't no jesus work though that arch.

  • no one chooses to be gay. If it was not Gids plan why would people be born gay? The bible was translated down so many times by so many people who is to say that being gay is wrong

  • He is exactly true :)

  • @TheZialoves I don't know how much substance there is to that argument given that so many people are born different from what might appear to be God's perfect intent. Life itself seems like it veers constantly from God's perfect plan, no? The one thing I know is that everyone needs support to navigate through life and the most unfortunate thing I see is how many Christians tend to close the doors of communication and understanding to gay people at the time they need it the most.

  • God's plan ? ? ? ? Superstitious nonsense that belongs in the caves of Afghanistan.

Christian is on the wrong path if he expects some man in the sky to show him "the way and the light."

He must come to terms with who he is and avoid the religious freaks like the plague.

What's next -- joining the wackos at Westboro Baptist?

  • exactly , it is not God's plan to be gay..

  • @TheZialoves You don't know God's plan. You are not God, and it is not up to you to judge other people and tell them how they should live.

  • @romy10, through the Bible\, that's where i know what God wants, and i didn't judge him ,

i just made a comment on what i believe. and please ..how came gay people can say what they want and us

who do not approve it , we can't say on what we believe.

i just simply say , that God's plan is not for his children to be gay , but however He LOVES US ALL...regardless.

i don't know if u have kids. but we all know that plans that parents have for their kids may differ from what they want, but .

  • @TheZialoves Spoken like a true closeted homosexual.
