Does anyone have the lyrics to the song? I can't make out what Si says at the 0:27 mark. It sounds like "Let the bored meters go."

I immediately became a fan of Si Cranstoun after seeing his street performances here.

@jackyvoe "So let the BOARD meters go" - that's always been my assumption (referring to the electricity board's measuring of power consumption - 'board' being the electricity company itself (perhaps UK terminology & not universal) OR the generic term defining the installation within a building - we call the distribution point, & normally where the meter (or gauge) is co-located, the 'board'), but I'll ask Si the next time I speak to him. Hopefully that wasn't too technical and longwinded?

@jackyvoe Guess what?.......We're both wrong! Met with Si a couple of nights ago and quizzed him on this matter. He maintains it's 'volt' and not 'board'. I've listened to the recorded version again and if you're told it's 'volt' then you can kind of accepted it - my teenage daughter is fully accepting of it. But how strange you thought it sounded like 'bored' (but it made no sense) and I thought it was 'board' (based on what I hear and the link to electricity)! Well, you live and learn.
