The Air Ambulance is based at Glasgow airport and the nearest hospital is about 5 minutes away, so I disagree there is need for a 24/7 dedicated ambulance.

Our local media reported that both men had taken a high dose of painkillers, hence why one of them could run about for so long whilst on fire. Yes, he would surely be charged for DUI along with the intent to kill members of the public, the intent to cause explosions, and resisting arrest. I don't work for the police but I would have thought both men would have had full medical examinations before being detained.

I live in Glasgow and I know what the airport is like. Had the jeep passed through the doors and into the main terminal building, HUNDREDS of people would have definitely been killed. Almost certainly more than the London Underground bombings. It's just amazing luck that the driver (who had taken numerous painkillers stolen from his workplace) crashed. I think you're getting your information from bad sources and creating a false impression of what happened.
