@Misslouisecoller - I do hope your mum and stepdad have fun on their journey across Europe/England in their motorhome...traveling cross-country has always been a dream of mine and hopefully before I die, I can do it! cheers!
My sister and her husband sold their house and they are traveling across America with 4 kids in their motor home! We have a cat that looks just like theirs too.
YOu're right about the fuel costing a fortune. But they don't drive everyday. I think after a couple of weeks of excitement of being on the road, RV stayers tend to find a good spot and spend weeks at a time.
Very interesting! Thank you for sharing! I did not know they had such large vehicles in England, I always picture tiny cars and never gave any thought that England might have motorhomes, too. Is this about as big as motorhomes get over there? In the U.S. we have even larger ones, but that looks pretty big for the U.K.
@rovingrepairbot - if you know the "Winnebago" line of motorhomes, they import those suckers over to Europe, and the brits/europeans love em'...just search here on Youtube for "Why Choose American Motorhomes " and you'll be surprised by the responses! :-)

@phed0017 They must have big bucks to afford to travel across America in a motorhome. Those things cost a fortune in fuel alone.
