  • I would use about 1/2-3/4 cup, and then see how the consistency is. Keep adding a splash after that until you get the right consistency. I use seltzer water too. Happy Eating!

    a pleasure to watch

  • Boil and cookthe spatzel. Put in a strainer, rinse with COLD water, throw salt in and stir, set strainer over a bowl and stir then let sit for about 5 or ten minutes. heat a pan on medium/high heat, let it get hot, then, throw in a very generous amount of butter. once the butter is melted, shake it around a bit, let it get real hot again but not burn the butter, throw spatzel in before butter burns. Toss, fry up get some of the noodles slightly crisp, but not all, salt/pepper and PARSLEY!!!!

  • I like to dip my scrotum and penis inside of spatzel batter to give it an extra bit of texture.
