  • @urzrem I really enjoyed your appearance on the show. It makes the audio engineering community feel like family. I appreciate your enthusiasm and positivity. It made an amazing episode even stronger!

  • Wow... I've been watching this show since the start of it and learned a ton of great stuff... Im also from Russia but live here in the States absolutely love producing/engineering do it 24/7, also play in an indie band for a living and were signing a record deal with WARNER in 2 weeks... It was sooo awesome to see Roman on the show! Молодец Pома!

  • Respect from Russia, Saint-Petersburg! This show is the best!

  • Dave Isaac's sentiment about his proudest moment recording his father's friend, James Brown was touching. Dave Pensado's contribution to the same question about strapping on a guitar...not quite as tender.

  • @MikeRiddleMusic

ДА это просто пушка!!!! Увидеть земляка!!!!!!!!!!! Столько эмоций испытал, почти как будт это я там побывал!!!!

Хотелось бы с Романом пообщаться очень!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Another great show.. ! Really appreciate Mr. Dave Isaac’s comment when working with Stevie on turning the lights out.. remind’s me of Sir George Martins book.. “All you need is EARS”.. it’s so important for us (who have the “best job”).. with all the fancy GUI’s we should not neglect the need to train our ears.. and NOT mix with our eyes.. Thanks Dave’s.. Jon Quinn.

  • best show on youtube thursday is now my favorite day thanks to pensado

  • Another great show! Listening to Mr. Isaac seemed to take something that can be perceived as quite technical, and turned it into something that is natural, logical, and just makes sense... If you just listen. Shout out to Roman! Nice close to the show Dave! (on my way to "Guitar" Center right now!)

  • dude I love Dave. Love the way he wrapped up the episode. A valuable lesson indeed.

  • Great episode and actually very infromative as Dave was asking the right sort of questions! Dave Isaac seems like a really cool guy too, woul definetely like to see him on again.

  • Im going to try that Flange at 300hz. I used to Hass the snare. I need to check that out again.

  • Thanks for the show and the "Yay" :D

  • Dave should make ITL on rule of thirds!!!

  • great show...

  • yeaay!!! ;-P

So there will be a show with Steven Slate??? Did I get that Right? Nice!

  • what a great show for us!!!!!!!!! YAAAAYYYY

  • Thanks to Dave and Dave to make it so much clearer to me. And I love the Idea of listening in the dark. If I could only find the faders with my trackball! :-)

  • I love that "disctraction" thing! I call il differently... My reasoning is about guiding the listener to a safe path into the mix so that I made easy for her to follow the lyrics or whatever I feel important at that moment. But then I make sure that you can focus on every other element in the mix... That's strange, it seems that there are two opposing forces: Definition and unity. And my goal is to find the best compromise about this two extremes...

  • i love what dave isaac said about creating a listening situation and guiding the ear to the different elements ! i had to laugh a little , when thinking of some people/listeners , which can´t tell , if a piano or a guitar is playing ..yes, they are really out there .

  • yaaayyy

  • nice

  • the "distractions" bit it genius! I totally agree with the panning lesson

  • Another great show.
