Hey I have an LG Rumor Touch and this worked for me until I got to "rename" And the .mp3 doesnt show up when i click rename so i did .3g2 and so then i was finished it said bullet.3g2.mp3 and i have no idea how to get the .mp3 off....? Any help?

Figured it out. To select the song, I had to go to my albums, not assigned media

When i try to assign the video(music) file as a ringer, it says "unsupported resolution". Then another message automatically pops up saying, "video ringer failed to be set". Yup.... You only have to do it on the SD Card drive on the computer, instead of doing it on the phone.... You just click and drag the songs into the DMCI Folder, and rename it.... Put the SD Card back into the phone.... Go into the Mangament Folder, click on the song and assign it... Peice of cake..

Sheldon - this all seemed great but unfortunately, did not work. My phone is just one week old, so maybe the software is different than yours, but my phone was not fooled by changing the file name. After I changed the file name, when I went to the "My Albums" folder it showed 0/0 videos... the music file was not there. Bummer. I've tried several times & it just won't work.

1000 KB = 1 MB

I had the problem of the music not playing. It would show there as .3g2 but could not hear it.

So I opened my music location on my computer right clicked on the first song, went down to properties and changed the player to open with my VLC player and everthing worked great....Crazy, but for some reason when the music would open on my computer with windows media player it would not work on my phone...Thanks
