93legendfire, Jesus preached peace - Paul, when he establised the church, changed all the meanings to fit "the right way" according to him. When you have a "right way" - every other way is wrong. The result was hundreds of years of religious persecution.

Islam basically states that "the way of Muhamad is by the sword" - as means of conversion to "the right way"

My dad REALLY hates pakistan, because of the ongoing disputes with that country and India. He lives with me in America, and will harbor this anger and prejudice to the grave.

I wonder how many Americans that are routed back to the brit/irish dilemma are this stubbornly fervent.

I'm also really amazed at how people can be so attached to their beliefs. I'm envious of this dedication, but it pisses me off that it's used so destructively.
