I just noticed that the graphics for the spells in this games are VERY similar to the ones in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New world, except for thunder blade, which looks like flame lance.
That's because DotNW recycled most of the spell sprites. Tales of the Abyss came out before DotNW by a long shot. In fact, most of the game menus and spells were derived straight from Abyss.
9:14, that's a good way to react to meteor storm! XD oh, and don't use guardian against big bang, it's still counted as a fonic arte, use magic guard instead.

to use u must have the sword given to u by the 2nd to last boss (not usin name to not spoil) along w/ having critical HP in overlimit then use ur mystic art as always
What costume is it that Luke is wearing in the fight? I've seen it before and I'm not sure how to get it. Is it the costume granted for doing something like 256 battles on Hard difficulty?
Depends on how much you want to level. This is one of the last things you do in the game before the final boss. If I ever play Abyss again and try to take her on unknown difficulty, I'll surely max out all my characters first.
