Don't get me wrong, I love the Black Keys, and they are one of my favorite bands- but you are a total moron if you think that they "revolutionized" rock or music in general. They are a straight up blues/rock group that shine in todays oversaturated crap music market. The Black Keys sound like guys from 50, 60 years ago. If you've ever listened to Junior Kimbrough, you would prolly say "Dan Auerbach is good, if he was Junior Kimbrough. Fucking poser."

one thing i suggest, being a musician in a two man blues/alternative band myself, is being a two man band but playing live with a bass player and maybe another guitar player who can do percussion and other stuff to make the music sound really full
