Around the time the Beavis and Butthead movie was released, I was hearing techno and house music that people dared to call "dance music", and because other genres such as funk, ska, older rock and roll, and other genres happen to have similar instrument/beat timing, and catchy instrument cues, I was eventually convinced that select ska tracks were danceable as well!
