People do use stolen engines, but they dont know theyre doing it. Theyre sold a stolen engine. They have no clue, but thats rare. The cops like to say theyre stolen because they dont come back to the same vehicle.
What they do, is call in the VIN number on the engine, and see if it matches a VIN that was reported stolen. If it dont, all clear.
The cops just wanna make sure that stolen items are returned, and the thieves are busted.

There is a time and a place for everything, that is one thing that is not being looked at here. At least they are not racing on a busy city street, or in s large city where unsuspecting drivers are blown into the other lane as a car pass them at a very high speed. I highly doubt that there is that much engine theft, come one 2 out of three. Most of these engines are most likely ordered from Japan! I can imagine this, Honey I went to check the oil because the car would not start, No engine!

Oh no, illegal add-ons!!! My parents say back in the day here in Gloucester, VA that the cops would shut down route 17 for racing and everyone would bring there cars there to race, alot of the cops even had there own muscle cars theyd bring and race, now its all by the book and people gotta race illegally, its also silly how virginias vehicle laws are, very stupid. i hate the laws in VA. I plan on moving to Kentucky, West Virginia, or North Carolina when i move out here in the next couple years.
