  • Evolution explains morality. People who raped children didn't protect the young. The young died. The gene died out. Easy peasy.

  • @FollowerChrist777 really yea I dnt think they of die the women would of banned to tofether to survive ...so yea it was still rape dumbaxs

  • Why does he name Hitler all the time?? Hitler was a catholic and believed in "God". And even he didnt believe in "God" as that retard ión this video Hitler tried to become THE HEAD of his own cult. Still makes him a retard who believed in the supernatural. Just like any other believer.

  • preacher "whatever you believe, base it on what is logical and coherent"

listen to your own advice toolbag

  • five pounds of good? a tit.

  • your username is rationalresponder. lol might wanna change that.

  • The cool thing about his analogy is the Judge is invisible, there is only faith in the $5,000 and there is no actual prison to observe. Fail.

  • lol @ Ray Confort lurking around there in the background.

  • "If there are no morale absolutes there is no god. There are morale absolutes so there is a god." Here he was like complely improvising and making shit up on the spot :D

  • saying that if there are moral absolutes means there is a god is like saying because there are apples men have dicks.

  • this guy is an inspiration

  • Non-believers have literally NO arugments. "all the above" really... stop lying to yourself. Humanity is so selfish. There is a God, we are not Him.

  • There must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be, there must be... intellectual FAIL.

  • Ray comfort uses the same.speech every time the are.you a good person speech

  • Yo that guy got some mad pitt stains.

  • @Jiggerman20 ....arm pit stains or not, Jesus is the only way to Heaven..The street preacher is Absolutely right..

  • If everyone believes that rape is wrong, why are there sex brothels? I think that a lot of raping goes on there and the people running them see that it is right because they are governed by the root of all evil, MONEY.

  • this guy knows how to yell but thats about it.

  • hehe, Ray Comfort 6:55

  • @SparkyFirecracker It's not so much as a script, but as a guide. He's read and studied list of topics and responses enough times so he can reject the lesser educated atheists and the trolls. And thus "prove" himself right.

  • The atheist here is very thoughtful and intelligent in his responses, yet the preacher can't even think without his script. The preacher lets all kinds of worthy comments fly right by him because he's not prepared to answer to logic. Without his script he has nothing to go on.

  • @powecell

"Out of a necessity of their own nature."

When you start defining things into existence you've lost.

"It would be impossible for them not to exist."

Of course it wouldnt be impossible, if no one was around to think the numbers or astract objects then THEY DONT EXIST. It's not like there's a number floating around in space or an abstract object zipping around planets.

  • Did the god of the bible not condone rape on several occasions?

    Numbers 31:18 (NIV)

    - but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

    Numbers 31:32-35 (NIV)

    - The plunder remaining from the spoils that the soldiers took was 675,000 sheep...[35] and 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.

So God commanded Moses to attack the Midianites and kill everyone including the children, but to save the virgin women for themselves?

This is your objective moral law giver?!

  • @paulski1080 That's not rape, back in those times women didn't have much of a say in marriage. What would you have said if He said "leave them there to die."?

  • @powecell That makes absolutely no sense at all. How can something exist that doesn't begin?

  • If stoning is absolutely wrong, why they did it before in the fucking bible?

  • @casadehorror "he who is without sin cast the first stone" sure people did it but Jesus rebuked it. It is wrong.

  • whats right and wrong is decided by humans,

people who didnt like to be killed, stolen from, beaten raped etc.

got together and decided those things were bad.

If I was to rely on the bible for morals I would think that slavery was good.

Or I might try to train bears to murder children if they decide to make fun of me.

GET A CLUE quit yelling at people.

  • This guys math homework; a2+b2=1/t .:. b=God.

  • @mikeedwards90 lol xD

  • explain the concept of god killing his son so we wont die!

  • Ofcourse Ray Comfort would be there, I swear I would punch him if I see him

  • In my opinion, there is no universal "moral law". I think we only believe that because as a species we think the entire universe revolves around us when it does not. We believe our natural instincts are the word of 'God', because the only other species we could communicate with that could challenge our beliefs with other instincts were Neanderthals, who we probably made extinct. I believe murder and torture is wrong, yet so do elephants, who literally mourn, yet some animals will eat their young

  • I'm thinking you should probably change your username, the "rational" part makes you seem like you're the atheist

  • ok two things. 1:do u have any idea what u r saying? the judge(GOD) and his son are the same one. so no he didnt murder his son, technically the Jews did.. 2:he sacrificed him self so that WE dont get the punishment we deserve for breaking his laws. so now. its not about kissing up to the judge its about realizing that what u did was wrong sincerely(repenting) and asking him forgiveness. and yes u do get to meet him. when the judge decides its time to get his people we will meet him and be with

  • He keeps changing the conversation so he can't be argued against, it doesn't make him right, it means he isn't being proved wrong... what a douche, he's being intentionally mi-leading ot make his argument sound more likely, he is ignorant, he is wasting his mind and his life, and the poor bastard he's talking AT was put in an awkward situation where he didn't have time to contemplate various answers like this prick did

  • @deanobeany i Agree with you 100%

  • I would love to talk to this Christian. This "atheist" obviously hasn't considered these issues that much if he doesn't have easy response to the vapid claims coming from the soapbox.

  • @BrooklynRagtag and im pretty sure he is ready for anyone no matter how much theyre considered stuff. this time he just happened to get this one

  • @higr69 Thanks for the response. The soapbox preachers often use the same Ray Comfort script. "Have you ever told a lie..." This isn't any sort of argument. It's a threat. You've told at least one lie in your life so god wants to torture you forever. Convert or suffer. It's just silly to make threats like this to someone who doesn't believe in hell. All the preacher needs is real evidence to make his position tenable. Instead he gives threats. Why is this necessary?

  • @BrooklynRagtag god never said he wasnts to torture people. he is a just god. just like if a murderer went to a trial the judge wouldnt send him to prison just because he wanted to, he would send him because he diserves it. god loves you and every one else. thats why...."for god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son. so hat whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life."john 3:16 so this is not a threat he is just letting you know the law at God's standard

  • @higr69 Your just judge analogy only works if you say that everyone on the planet is on trial and the trial isn't fair. It doesn't matter what crimes you have committed. Everyone gets the same horrendous punishment. The judge also cruelly murdered his own son for a crazy loophole he came up with. If you kiss up to the judge and his murdered son and you escape your sentence. You also never get to meet the judge or his son in person, but if you deny the judge exists you guarantee a bad trial.

  • @BrooklynRagtag him forever. but u are right about one thing. jesus said"he who denies me before everyone i will deny him before my father"

  • @higr69 Nice to hear back from you. I do indeed know what I'm saying. You say Jesus sacrificed himself to himself. This correction doesn't make the story more believable or more moral for me.

Phenomena that actually exist are usually easy to demonstrate to someone who is willing to examine the evidence. It shouldn't require me to accept far fetched premises asserted as fact. It shouldn't require threats. It just requires real evidence. I hope this helps you understand my perspective.

    Best,

    BR

  • @BrooklynRagtag i do understand your perspective. one of the things i love about god is the fact that he does not force u to believe in him and whether u believe or not he still loves u. i am just 18 and i didnt just became a christian because of love like many crhistians do.(not saying its wrong) but because it makes sense. the truth is everywhere read a bible have curiosity to see further than what meets the eye. u r in my prayers.

  • @higr69 Thanks for the prayers. I know it's meant well and I appreciate the gesture. I didn't become an atheist overnight and I have indeed read the Bible, parts of it many times. I would encourage you to do the same. I hope you can keep up an honest inquiry into issues of morality and evidence. Be well.

    Best,

    BR

  • @BrooklynRagtag just as if i were to tell you "hey BrooklynRagtag have you ever stolen or murdered or raped? well please dont do so because the judge will send you to prison.

  • Furthermore, "moral absolutes" is a colloquial term, not an academic one and "rape is wrong" is not one of them. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would disagree with the concept "rape is wrong", but again, that doesn't remove the subjectivity of it. One could fathom a scenario where "rape" might be considered a viable action. Those possible scenarios are very few and thin and extremely unlikely due to the nature of the inquiry, but they still exist.

  • Based on my understanding of subjectivity and objectivity. Objective morality is impossible. Morality is the concern of what is right and wrong. That society has universally agree that rape and child molestation are wrong, it doesn't remove the subjectivity of it. In the opinion of the molester and the rapist, it's not wrong. "Moral laws" are an internal construct within each one of us, gauged by human empathy and popular consensus. We makes laws of the ones we generally agree upon. That is all.

  • when you understand why you dismiss all other gods, you'll understand why I dismiss yours

  • Is this mormonism trying to mask themselves with these ads? Those ads don't make it any more true mormons.

  • wow now that is a chrisitian who really knows his stuff

  • what is moral? i don't know, but i feel that "good" to me at least, is not doing anything that i wouldn't wan to be done to, to others. some like to have bondage sex and think its good. but to me its bad because its painful, while its good for those who enjoyed it.

  • This stupid Christian gives me a headache.

  • Excellent, impressed with your ability to answer & keep it moving despite the confused heckler. Your points & logic are sound. If the atheist is intellectually honest, you will have given him plenty to think about.

  • Logical, RIGHT!... :D

  • what the... is that ray comfort at 3:00 with the sunglasses in black shirt?

  • As much as I respect your energies and your love for the Lord, you are casting pearls before swine here.

  • @bankrep02 It's called planting a seed. Putting something in their mind, they might not normally think about. Also someone in the crowd may pick up reasoning they may never have considered. The world is taught that Christianity is a religion that doesn't stand up to reason, logic, or science. A great way to point out the falsehoods in that.

  • You don't need a god to explain why basic beliefs about morality generally remain the same from person to person. If what underlies morality is determined by innate brain structures and most people possess these structures, then it would follow that most people would have the same basic beliefs about morality. The consistency of morality is no greater a mystery than the high consistency with which people share any other basic human physical characteristic.

  • Wow to hear him say that because of the god of the bible we know rape and child abuse are wrong is horrific. Has he read his bible? The bible that says if a man rapes a woman he must marry her and pay the father. WOW

  • Society determines what is to be permitted and what is not to be tolerated.

Nobody knows what moral absolutes (presumably handed to us by God) are because nobody can know the will and mind of God.

What we have here is a fine example of a credulous fanatic. Shame on him.

  • This guy is full of shit. There doesn't have to be a moral law giver. Morals are developed by each person. Evolution is a theory. But so is gravity. You know gravity is real. Even if it is the "theory" of gravity.

  • LOL, Ray Cumfart walks away at 3:07

  • Society dictates what is right and what is wrong according to the society of the day. We live in a society, so we abide by society's laws. These social laws go all the way back thru civilization inorder to maintain a society eg. murder, theft , rape, assault is bad. These laws were all created by man... A god is not required to establish laws or ideologies governing immoral, civil or criminal behavior I just wish I was there to argue with the blabbering idiot on the stand.

  • There is no logic in what he is saying ):

  • @diakoniaable I have no issue with that, my brother. That's fine with me.

  • @diakoniaable I find it very hard to follow a Messiah that likely nevere existed and is an anthopophormization of the Sun, or an appriation of former Pagan God's. Hold on, for a second though. You think that Jesus is the Literal Incarnation of God, that means that he is in essance God. So, by folowing his teachings you want me to murder the entire planet, stone women to death for adultry, murder children for making fun of prophets, stone rebellious children to death, etc. etc.

  • Well anyone with knowledge of Judicial ethics could tell this preacher that a Judge cannot try a case in which a family member is involved, especially if he is the defendant.

  • umm, is this guy retarded.. good is not measured in weight.. its like saying purple is measured in time.. what a fucking jesus freak.. id really like to burn him.

  • @RockLIFE001 Me as well, my brother... Retarded Christian Theists are responsible for burning alive 100''s of thousands of innocent wiccans and pagans, etc. I'd love to give these Theistic, Christian Retards a taste of their own medicine... Self righteous pricks! They're not righteous, they're fundementally evil!

  • I would love to see this guy debating Hitchens.

  • @DaGavinX That would be epic... I think Hitchens would bury him in about 2 minutes flat! This Theistic, Fundementalist Retard has no knowledge of anything... He is a certifiable moron, and retard, and if anyone considers any of his nonesensical theistic ramblings, then that's a testament to their stupidity. I would pay a a nice sum of coin to watch Hitchens murder this mutherfucker!

  • @YoungMommy14

Raising the red herring, eh? Such typical statements of a "new atheist." Just out of curiosity, how many innocent people did Stalin and Marx kill to establish an atheistic regime? Are all atheists killers like that? Just goes to show you that there are plenty of crazy people out there, because man is evil. Just because killing was committed in the name of religion doesn't mean REAL Christians did it. As far as Hitchens, please watch Dr. Craig vs. Hitchens and see who got buried.

  • Wow! this dumb ass kid preaching on the street has been brainwashed

  • God Bless you brother! Do the work of God! Do what most people don't and preach on the streets as long before!

  • Isn't there rape and child molestation in the bible?

  • @hivelocity100 Yea, they always bring up rape, and seem to forget that their god allowed rape as spoil of war, or better said the genocide their god commanded.

  • @givingmantoo very true, fucking christians.

  • you do such a good job! thank you brother. God be with you and peace be with you.

  • Making it sound as if atheists, agnostics, or deists for that matter, would approve child molestation and rape because "they have no concept of right and wrong" is some sick accusation only religous zealots can come up with. So the only reason the christians don't rape others is because some higher power tells them not to do? So is the fear of hell the only reason? Then how come child molestation is so common among the clergy? This is not a debate, it's senseless polemic.

  • the word morality is not even in the bible. we do have a point of reference because MORALITY EXISTS...we can have it without god. is something right because god says it is? or is it right because its right? chad is incorrect here. we can answer his question and debunk the need for a "moral law giver" by answering the following questions:

    what is morality?

    does man need morality?

if yes why? I have posted the answer on chad's blog ; ] or u can find it on dawson bethrick's blog

  • this is why 99% of wars are started this is why billions of people die. im sorry the people in this video are blind. so is the majority of the world... AN EYE FOR AN EYE MAKES THE WHOLE WORLD BLIND,, so why dont we Unite as friends of peace and love eachother, This World is corrupt, twisted and decieving. im not really atheist or religious im sort of a moderate, but to be honest its logical to be good and believe in somthing that might exist that could possibly grant infinite happenis. "UNITE"

  • years ago random sex without the intention of making a baby was a sin now its all what people do sex sales its in movies and strip clubs ..then it was homosexuality was a sin now its more homos then it is straight people american people are so full of shit

  • "if there's no moral absolutes, there's no god. There are moral absolutes so there is god" disregarding for a second that both god and moral absolutes are completely unsubstantiated, the logic itself is so tragically flawed. If there's no humans there's no harry potter. There are humans so harry potter is real. ummmm no u fucking retard.

  • All these types of arguments prove is that one person is a better debater than the other. As logical and charismatic and influential as a christian like this can be, the simple fact is that they believe in a super human zombie jew that was his own father yadda yadda.

  • @RectalDiscourse true, plus to anyone who is moderately educated or intellectual, this guy is a total buffoon, not logical, charismatic or influential. this is not a debate, it's two people yelling at eachother in the street. there's a reason why theists choose that method. It's easy to yell louder and sound more prepared, when you don't think, and are just regurgitating a script. Robert DeNiro is a very convincing actor, it doesn't make his movies any less fictional.

  • Oh Ray Cuntiff is sniffing around showing everyone his God Pussy

  • attention world next time you say self righteous atheist's are annoying, watch this guy.

  • burn your script

  • Wow, easy argument to win.

    1. He asks "Where did this creation come from". He is begging the question by calling it a creation.

    2. If you answer that natural forces created it, he may ask "what created the natural forces?" You then answer "we don't understand it yet, but we are working on it. we used to not understand why the sun rose in the morning and eventually science answered this.

    3. You win by asking "what created your God, then?"

  • GOD have merci on these NON BELIEVERS! :(

  • @seventy73three Yes brother! May God have mercy on these believers, they do not know what they do!

  • Yeah, what a great father. "Son, because you haven't worshipped me for no good reason, I'm going to have you tortured in the basement for eternity.

Herr Fritzel was a man after this god's heart for sure.

  • @jamesstephenbrown My mom abandoned me saying i was a bad daughter because I didn't do what she told me. I asked her what I didn't do and she said I was too independent. Dropped off her only daughter for listening to her own thoughts. I had to live with her sister who had my living like an animal, not able to use the bathroom, or eat, or even sleep. My mom let it continue, telling me I deserved it. Me, the only college kid in the family, an altruist, humanitarian. Oh yeah I deserved it.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. What does that have to do with my comment?

  • @jamesstephenbrown just you know if a parent is bad acting that way, so is a god.

i mean if the god of the bible is real, i'd never worship it

  • @EzbieandFred That was my point.

  • @jamesstephenbrown yeah, i was reiterating it in realistic terms. Like a real life emaple of how god is an abusive parent. WOW I'm SO much like jesus :)

  • @EzbieandFred aha! I see. You are much like Jesus, except less fictional.

  • funny how the preacher keeps comming back to rape and child molestations.. anybody read they news lately? priests raping little boys like theirs no tomorrow. fuck religion.

  • he is an idiot

  • @snaplunt they all are

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 the preachers

  • To burn a city that has turned to idol worship. Deut. 13:17

Your God demands that any city the believes in a differant god for you to burn it down!

    This is a commandment.

So.... when was the last time you burned down an entire city?

hummm? you havn't? oh...well.... have fun in hell bitches!

  • @Jayjon81, yeah, old testament, not a universal law given nowadays

  • what a fucking christian ignorant

  • @blueyesalexya good luck

  • @blueyesalexya i guess you know everything then?? should we call you christ?

  • The whole judge/jail analogy is horrible, because the "crime" of lust, thievery, etc. are all finite crimes and hell is an infinite punishment. How disgusting.

  • Comment removed

  • @thesponge11 yet another example of the church steping back for logic and reasoning. When is the church gonna admit defeat and say, "yeah we were wrong pretty much about everything... let us pick up a science book".

  • Comment removed

  • @thesponge11 I understand that it doesn't make sense to you. Your religious teachings have taught you that 'It' defines you. You see everything even morals realating to your religion. What if I told you that I can imagine a perfect world, where good honest people live, with no crimes, and all are contribuing to the advancement of their species. Is this not a moral standerd that we can test our validity of reasoning? Is this not better than a world full of people waiting to go somewhere else?

  • Comment removed

  • @thesponge11 Are you kidding me? You can't see how you can base a world view off an idea? Is this really your argument? Was it absurd when Lyndon B. Johnson imagine 'The Great Society', Martin Luther King imagine equal rights, The Wright brothers imagine flight? Imagination is what drives this nation. Futhermore, in excalty why wouldn't it be a "reliable source"? Why do you believe the bible is the word of God? Show me evidence since you clearly don't like imagination.

  • @thesponge11 just like to add... Why do u concider the bible as your moral guide? Im guessing your a Christain, so I'm asking you, do you actually read the bible? There are 613 laws (commandments) in the bible. Do you abide by all the laws? If not, than your moral standers takes precedent over "the word of god". Therefore, there is no need for the bible.

I'm not trying to be mean, it really is just a question.

  • @headbanger907 yeah what's strange is that a lot of christains use this. Why can't an intellegent person see how dumb this reasoning is? To me this is mind blowing stupidity rationalizing.

    Jail vs Hell....WTF

  • @headbanger907 I see how it could be ridiculous, but what isn't being understood is that even though a person commits an individual crime, and that crime is finite, the very essence of that person is one of sin, and that essence is infinite. Committing a sin and having a sin nature, the former flowing from the latter, are related, but separate. Unless the very nature of the person is changed he will always stand guilty before the Judge, because his very nature and the subsequent acts are also.

  • So ask yourself today...if I dont wake up tomorrow or if this is my last day in Earth...am I proud of what I did in this life? Will God be happy? because if you say no as an answer to these questions..then you better get square with yourself and especially with God....God bless you all

  • @s4njosesh4rk Why wouldn't God be happy? If a perfect god exists, then it will be fine regardless of what any of his creation do.

  • Heres for the Holocaust boy....God doesnt stop evil from happening to us or bad things because He loves us and He wants us to learn from our mistakes so we dont have to suffer for those mistakes later on in life...God has a plan for everybody and He knew what our name was before we were born and how we were going to look and He knows when and how our life will end

  • lol he's a ravi ripoff

  • 6 days later...still no reply frm this douchebag

  • yah if there so many wrongs in the world yu stupid fuks..god would stop it..right?why didnt god stop the holocaust yu stupid fuking idiots...if yu were getting killed yu would ask god why? and guess what he wouldnt give yu an answer like he didnt give those ppl who died in the holacaust an answer

  • @jmead19 There is actually a very logical answer to your question; unfortunately it cannot be quite summed up in a youtube character limited medium. However, I'll offer you this, your lack of a basic understanding of how the physics of the universe operates, illuminates your naivety with regards to 'natural evil'. Natural Evil is necessary in order to prove to sentient beings God's existence. It forces them to chose between good and evil. I'll try one more comment box to further my point. cont..

  • @jmead19 The universe we live in is meticulously designed as a place to choose between good and evil. However, such choices would not be an option in a physically perfect universe in which natural evil did not exist. This is why God created a paradigm of 2 separate universes - the first a temporal, material universe subjugated by choice. The second, non-temporal, non-material universe designed to optimize interpersonal relationships between believers and God.

  • @jmead19 Nowhere does the Bible state that the universe was designed to be perfect. In Genesis, God Himself called it "good" and "very good," but never "perfect. If God had created the universe with no possibility of evil or sin, then the created beings would have had no free will, and, as such, would essentially be programmed robots. God created the universe for the express purpose of allowing free will spiritual beings the opportunity to have fellowship with Him (and likewise, reject Him).

  • does this guy knw tht the bible says yu can sell yur duaghter into slavery..and god asked for sacrifices in the bible...i want to argue with this dumbass.

  • @jmead19 Me too.

  • The young preacher is correct,if there is no God then no one could tell another what they're doing is wrong or evil, those concepts wouldn't exist, everyone would be a law unto themselves.

  • @CBALLEN no, he's really not. You don't need to have a God to tell you that there are some actions that are automatically wrong. There are certain actions--rape, slavery, etc.--that we can see are harmful to the well being of our species and that we can easily see that if we do these things it will be harmful to us as a whole.

  • @Mezmr1zed ..But there are many in the world who disagree with you, many people believe all "others exist" for their fleshly gratification and if God is not real, then who are you O MAN to tell them they are wrong.See what I mean?Hitler's henchman gave the excuse they did what they did, according to his culture and in Germany it was a good thing to enslave, rape and murder JEWS.The prosecutor ,however ,argued their was a HIGHER POWER who gave us all objective, absolute truth, and NAZIS WERE WRONG!

  • @CBALLEN if that's your argument, then who are YOU to tell me I'm wrong? And if you really need a court of law to tell you that "the prosecutor got a feeling that God doesn't like Nazis and slavery rape and murder are wrong", and you couldn't figure that out on your own, then I am terrified to share a world with you. If you really need that much guidance on what is right and wrong then you need to seriously reevaluate your morality.

  • @Mezmr1zed I knew exactly what your response would be,but if a liberal atheist was the prosecutor, who believed in pure naturalism, like DEWEY and others, none of the NAZIS would have been prosecuted, because the true naturalist atheists rightly admit,if God doesn't exist, then neither does, moral absolutes, good &evil, right &wrong,we are all just animals and can't be expected to follow any rules placed upon them.Your premise fails my friend.

  • @CBALLEN do you honestly believe that atheists have no sense of morality or sense of responsibility for how their actions impact others? And you don't have to have moral absolutes in order to have morals. If we want to have a functioning society, we understand that we must have rules and laws in order to keep it from falling apart.

  • @Mezmr1zed No,I'm not saying that atheists have no morals at all,I'm just saying if you look at everything from a purely naturalistic prospective, there is no reason at all, to stop people from doing what ever they want to do,who can judge right from wrong, who has the standard that everyone goes by?

  • @CBALLEN Of course there's a reason for it all--we want to do and promote the things that benefit us as a species. We want to try and eliminate the harmful behaviors and promote the beneficial ones. We don't need a magical sky creature to tell us what will or will not promote our survival--we can see that in our day to day lives.

  • @Mezmr1zed So murdering babies is a good thing?Promoting homosexuality and all the diseases that are caused by it is a good thing?Letting people come into ones country and allowing them to destroy the country and it's people in the name of freedom is a good thing? Stealing money from one person and giving it to an undeserving person is a good thing? Favoring people over other people because of skin color is a good thing?Giving children condoms instead of teaching abstinence is a good thing?

  • @CBALLEN The things you are listing are not even direct results of a naturalistic worldview. But let's say for argument that they are. You think we should deny homosexuals rights because....they're diseased? Really? And I don't even know what you're talking about with the "coming into our country" thing. Immigrants? Islam? What? And where do you get off saying that naturalism=racism? Are you kidding me? Would you prefer that kids have sex with no contraceptives?

  • @CBALLEN If you replace 'Good' with 'benefit to society(humanity)' then In some circumstances yes to all except those you misrepresent. You just made a point that morals are subjective.

    1. To save the mothers life when both are likely to die

    2. like promoting being black?(equal rights)

    3. empathy for someones plight is bad?(I think they should have to be here legally).

    4. like overcharging and underpaying?

    5. Equal rights laws are abused by some

    6. loaded gun A. gun abstinence B gun safety?

  • @CBALLEN The 'promote abstinence' movement has failed MISERABLY. Kids aren't going to stop having sex just because they don't have condoms--they'll just go without. And that's how STDs spread, just like from those dirty, dirty, diseased homosexuals. I wish you could see what it's like not being in the majority--what it's like to have your rights squashed by the people who legislate against ideas that violate THEIR ideas. I really think you would change your tune.

  • @Mezmr1zed If there was no God then men would do whatever felt good, barring nothing that the imagination could conceive. It's bad now,but still God does hold back much sin,man is certainly depraved, however he could even be worse if not for God,in fact we wouldn't even be here now if God didn't exist.

  • @CBALLEN if that's truly how you feel and no debate will sway you from that point of view, then there is no point in continuing this. We simply disagree.

  • @CBALLEN Good thing you're not an atheist as I would assume you would want to be rapped beat tortured or killed. My point being If you wouldn't like to a victim chances are you will not victimize others.

Look up mirror neurons and empathy

  • @robvlob You're not making any sense,try again.

  • @CBALLEN Its a very simple point really. I'll try even more simple terms

Okay lets say God gave humans morals, now lets say for the sake of argument only those that believe in Jesus are given such morals(as some theists believe). As an atheist without Gods morals I believe it would be detrimental to my life & health and societies health to want to rape torture and kill etc. simply because I wouldn't want to be victimized myself.

Willfully ignoring this point won't make it not true.

  • God do exist

  • @antario1990 You mean 'God DOES exist'.

  • anyone who watches this knows this debate literally solved nothing, lol.

  • no offense to this atheist, because I'm sure he was put on the spot here, but he could have done a much better job with this.

  • have you seen good? have you seen evil? LMAO

have you seen god? hello, same logic you retard

  • 2 years from now this kid will have his own talk show on am radio, 5 years from now this guy will be a talking head on FOX news, 10 years from now he will own his own church, 20 years from now he will be caught cheating on his wife, losing his family and his church. 30 years from now he will have paid for his sins and build a church twice as big as his first one. 40 years from now he will be telling the world that California deserved the most destructive earth quake, due to lack of belief.

  • Why are people still arguing wether god exists?

He doesn't, because he can't exist. We have more important problems people !!

Ignorance is our main Enemy. Spread the Word.

  • Thats alot of Ravi Zacharias Stuff. Awesome.

  • wouldn't it be funny if either a lightning bolt hit the atheist and the christian died with no afterlife

  • Oh god. Here come's Ray.

  • I guess the arguments here are too subtle for atheists and agnostics.

  • Not everyone think rape is wrong. A lot of rednecks around here say its fair game if the woman is dressed a certain way. This is the greatest argument ever haha. But hes right. If theres nothing above us, a point of reference, then theres no such thing as good or evil. I love this.
