So Ensiferum is probably the best band I have ever seen live. I saw them with Finntroll and Rotten Sound. I know there was another band but I can't remember the name. Bottom line, Finnland makes good metal and if you are American like me, look to Europe for good metal. this new excuse for metal my country has been producing is, in a word, shit.

I live in the UK and to be quite honest, our music is a load of crap. The majority are into pop and will put up with the top 40 on a continuous loop on the radio, it drives me fuckin crazy! My first exposure to metal was Iron Maiden and SOAD, then I got onto Metallica a couple of months later. Then I found Nightwish, and whilst listening to them, I clicked on an Eluveitie video by mistake (Omnos) and that led me to my fav band of all time, ENSIFERUM !! My journey through metal has been epic :)
