Most of North America is filled with the self indulged and the selfish. Communism relies on everyone being treated equally.. By the structure of society today I don't believe that a communist social structure would be successful.

You have a point. However there has been no historical event that has taken place where an entire society or country has been taken over by any sort of corrupt or evil movement that seemed as such in the first place.

I have. But what I said was stupid and filled with ridiculous amounts of flaw and failure. Communist Russia is in fact no more. But while it was in power it wasn't exactly a stable society. And it was close to a communist society, it only took it to the extreme. And look at other communist areas today such as China and North Korea.. Both of which are unfavorable living conditions through the eyes of most North Americans
