I enjoy watching your videos! Other than the great tips and ideas that you share, I just enjoy your personality. You seem to be such a great and lovable person! I wish you all the best!
Don't worry, Pam, I think (and I'm sure many of us agree) you are great! You have a very natural way of commenting the videos that you spice up with your sweet personality. Not many people have that! Warm wishes, and God Bless!
how many cans did it take to do your desk????? I really like that Idea. I was thinking about doing a desk what chalk board paint, but this idea is faster
@burrochapadogrl Oh, wow...not sure I really remember. I did go through several cans, but I made a point to buy a can or two extra. Nothing is more frustrating when you're trying to work on a project in the middle of the night, run out of paint, and Home Depot is closed, lol. I'm not much a fan of chalkboard paint. I think it would be too rough of a surface for a desk, but for you it might work out perfectly. All I can tell you is I never did one bit of sanding, ha! to the guys! lol
Thank you so much. I am organizing a "space" for my art and your ideas are great. Inexpensive is a beautiful word, having spent quite a lot on some of my supplies, I believe in saving on organization. And it all looks beautiful, too. Thank you Pam.
I love so many of your ideas! I especially love the thrift store purchases. Just a couple of things, sorry, as far as the double tipped markers, they need to be stored flat or horizontal. This will help them to last longer and dry out slower. Also stamp pads should be stored flat, upside down so the ink is at the top of the stamping area. I have been stamping for about 15 years so I am speaking from experience! I have 3 sets of the LePlume markers and lost a couple. Thanks for sharing!
Just love your room and ideas Pam! Yes, my hubby is always telling me too that you can't paint laminate. He just died after we painted a bunch of cheap laminate book shelves I got from a yard sale. Inspired me to paint several laminate cabs white for my room, too. He loves this idea now! Thanks for the great ideas!
Aw, thank you! I worked sooo hard on this room. I'll try to get a vid posted soon displaying the whole room. It's really small, but just darn cute and functional, like my own little sacred space you know? I'm going to post before and after pics with the vid. I probably won't be able to get to it until this weekend. Working too much....errrr
@MissJassy28 Hi Miss Jassy! Hee hee, this is so exciting to actually get comments on my little craft room. So glad you like it, I worked really hard on it. The paint I used is "Rust-oleum Painters Touch Ultra Cover 2x Coverage in Flat Black". I got it at Home Depot. I *suppose* sanding isn't a bad idea, but the material is that cheap laminate stuff on particle board. I am extra careful not to blatantly scratch the desktop though, or plunk things on top of it roughly. But, hey ~ it worked. :-)
