  • One of their best ... no doubt ! ... Wayne

  • SWEET

  • Loved these guys!!!

  • one of the best kiwi bands ever

  • I love it! The stuff of today is @(#& in comparison.

  • @sally65356 So true!!!

  • At 3:25 girl in the white dress almost gets clocked by the legs of Tim Finn

  • LOVE it.

  • OMG :DDDD

  • One of my favorite Enz songs ever. Love the energy and bounciness.

  • The best song on this album is Albert of India, IMO. I love the entire album, the music is completely ORIGINAL and fantastic. It's a shame that no one really compares to the "Enz".

  • That looked fun.

  • this was their best album, totally brilliant every track

  • Heavy on the synths at first, but it keeps building, then Neil plays a white-hot guitar solo and the whole thing lurches to a crazed finish. I love this song. And the album is a true classic.

  • I Think this band are great, Brings back a lot of memories.

  • @bwfc651 Hi yeah it wa very catchy tune were in it?

  • I just bought this CD the other day for about $10 and I am thrilled!!! Back when it came out....I went to a sleep-over party and I slept with the album cover because I loved Split Enz so much. I must admit...much harder sleeping with a CD now...lol!!!

  • I had it but when I got back to France, lent it and never got it back!!! That was 25 years ago... Thanks

  • love this song!!!

  • Like Eddie's keyboard work here

  • For a VHS transfer this looks fantastic! Thanks for uploading it.

  • Love it -takes me right back to my beloved 80s -love Neil's guitar riff from 2.25 onwards too

  • ha! nice call! just tried to show my friend that part last nite

  • A very underappreciated Enz track.

  • love this song..one of my all time favourite Split Enz songs..brings back memories of my first crush..

  • Disco Split Enz!

  • yeah olds skool this clip he he

  • Five for the better..

  • Wow, Tim was a pioneer moshpitter!

  • Certainly one of favs from the Enz along with I See Red and Shark Attack.

  • There was a good handful of videos that did not make it to the DVD collection. WHY!?!?!?

Can anybody list all the clips that are missing? I'm curious what else is out there. I've just discovered Split Enz over the last year, and I cannot get enough!

  • I know, they have them all, I don't know why they couldn't've put them all on.

They skipped Never Ceases to Amaze me, Maybe, Crosswords, so probably heaps more. Not to mention they didn't use the original audio for the Late Last Night clip. Just because they HAD to have remastered sound right?

  • Never Ceases to Amaze me has been on here for a long time

  • zcult, Split Enz are an acquired taste. people who get put off by the image just dont get it.

  • what a strange comment...

  • One of the moe stupid uniformed comments I have seen. Get a grip.

  • looks like dude got nigel and noel mixed up...both great musicians...same great band...

  • ..also for duderood...mal is alive and well living in sydney...he spent some time back in uk,,I had the pleasure of working with him between 2002 and 2005with the Hippos..(sydney blues outfit fronted by John Power) you can see us do a cameo in a local Bmovie "the Crop"

  • ...dj is the manager of enz at the time,,Nathan Brenner..also the guy who took Men At Work to america as support on the enz tour(..typically i was mug enough to tell him not to ..ahhh there a good pub band but not many songs...just shoot me

  • lastly....I see this is around the time Nigel took up full time drums from green...they worked so good together...the drum beats of True Colours...just magic..and Green drummed for Wiata as well...Just left young and in a hurry ..wonder why??...and I wonder how he is now???Great drummer..Not that Nigel isn't the best!!!I mean Time and Tide!!! My favorite of all!!!

  • I think you mean Noel. According to "Stranger than Fiction," a story of the band written by former Enz bassist Mike Chunn, Mal was kicked out of the band because he was letting his extracurricular activities (in this case, writing and creating songs in hope of making it big as a solo artist) hamper Split Enz' performance.

  • and the punks were getting tired of the hating england and life so to say...and the Enz ..so talented and positive..and ..hehe dance music!!! Just love the hypocrisy of this song!!!!Always a class act!!!

  • came out during the death of disco///////excellent title...

  • i was in this clip im the danceer in black clohes

  • Who's the DJ 0:41-0:47 ? Looks like Emlyn Crowther...

  • it could have been because thename rings a bell. i was in this clip as a dancer

  • It is Emlyn.

  • Yeah it looks like it is.

  • this is a brilliant song, its one which gets better on repeated listens.....but it's got catchy riffs and a great tune and great musicianship....it's great!!! I also think this should've been on their dvd, it looks more than fine for a 1981 video to me... cheers for the upload!!

  • Have to agree with you misterpunk. This is my all time favourite Split Enz song, and that is a big call. Oddly enough, my second favourite song of theirs is "I Walk Away" from 1984. Then "Dirty Creature" in third! I had an LP called "1981..Rocks On" as a kid and "I Don't Wanna Dance" is on there and I used to play it continually.

  • Good song, not so great clip... shoulda been on the DVD though!
