I'm thinking of either buying the n96 or n97. The thing is, I hate fat phones. I hate slow phones. People mostly tell me that the n96 is both. However, tha n96 comes with this mind-blowing awesome bruce lee cover which I love. But I don't want to buy a phone for the cover and get stuck erformance wise...

@LastShinobi01 go with niether. not sure too much on the n96 but i know its fat. my n97 is almost awesome but at times (most times) it can be so slow and will restart at random which is a real headache.

Did he say N36 at 9:05? The power button on the top is made small and not easily accessible on purpose. You don't want to accidentally depress it. PhoneArena reviews are sometimes irrational and boring!!

5800 is good, but N96 has an huge external memory... anyway i just want to get these both!!

5800 = 81mb internal, external max. 16gb (32gb, allowed?)

sometimes it can be a bit slow? i got my n96 since it was thrown on the market and honestly its the worst phone i ever had...the more technologie nokia builts into the more shitty they get i think. i paid 400 euros with contract. i had 3 nokias and 1 sony ericsson and i have to say that i really miss the time with my old SE because everything worked without any problem. i will never ever buy a nokia anymore. it restarts itself all day long and it takes 5 minutes to start the music thats not cool

the good point about the music control keys on it is u can change songs or pause without taking your phone out in public or while you're sat down, i also find texting quite easy on this phone, mine is neva slow and i have used most of the memory, and the 'accelorometre lag' was due to u not holding it sideways enough, i find this phone much better than the iphone, and all in all this phone is the best phone i have ever been on and used, and if i had an n95 i wud rather have n96, much better!!!!!

N96 is not a very good phone, and not worth the price. It is fat, the screen is not that big & doesnt look that good. The keys are annoying and the dual slide is pointless. N-gage isn't that top notch anymore. It costs in Australia $100 more than the Iphone 3gs 32gb! I quite like the camera and symbian so that would be the only reason i would buy this phone.

I have just noticed that newer N-series phones does not have the edit key (The key which has a pencil) anymore. I really miss the edit key because it helps me mark all the items that i want in my phone and it can even copy and paste texts.
