  • Celebs do nothing good for society, but only cause misery to others by wearing real fur!

  • most seal hunters use a rifle. if used right then a club can give a quick instant death, however i will say if the animal moves quick it can end up with a miss (probly why most use rifles these days). i have seen the video of animals being skinned alive and i see to many flaws making me feel it is just another hoax. also one of my comments before about the deer population, i either got the state or the city wrong (it's been about 6 or 7 years since i read the article).

  • i both support them and thank them for wearing fur. atleast they are willing to support the fur trade when so many other "stars" are against it just to boost their careers. the fur trade gives thousands of jobs in the US alone and supports healthy animal populations, without it animals would overpopulate and suffer from disease and starvation.anyone that does not support hunting and trapping supports real animal cruelty.

  • @beavthetrapper No, a lot of people are against it because of how cruel it is. Animals skinned alive is good? No it really isnt. Sort your life out.

  • @mariahandchristina animals are not skinned alive. that is a lie started by anti-fur organizations. the video is a hoax if you pay close attention to it you can see that. it also makes no sense to skin an animal alive do to the risk of damaging the pelt causing it to not be worth as much. it is also cruel and trappers in general harvest the animals humanely.

  • @beavthetrapper "Animals are not skinned alive" is a very bold statement to make. "Anti-Fur Organizations" have the video proof that in many countries animals are indeed skinned alive. Humans being "superior" to animals doesn't give us the right to torture and kill them in inhumane ways. I agree that hunting for the basic need of food is acceptable, but if you ever actually seen what goes on behind the walls of "factory farms" it is anything but "harvesting the animals humanely".

  • @beavthetrapper "the fur trade gives thousands of jobs in the US alone" you must also believe in forced prostitution and child labor then (they provide jobs too). If MK&A took even 10% of there worth and gave it to people who benefit from these jobs, then it would save a lot of pain to these animals that are breed for the only purpose of killing them. If we stopped breeding them it would also "support healthy animal population". Most of these animals are endangered because of us.

  • @Dprincess1807 none of these animals are endangered in the areas that they are harvested. there are laws to protect them. the only animals harvested that are endangered have healthy populations in the areas that they are harvested, a list of these species are canadian lynx, fisher, and the eastern spotted skunk. in most areas the animals that are harvested are overpopulated. the hunting and trapping is done in a way that is more humane than a natural death.

  • @beavthetrapper What animals are you talking about? The endangered species list is worldwide. A specific species of animal is not going to be endangered in one area and not in the other. It doesn't work that way. You honestly believe that the people trapping theses animals are thinking about there well being and killing them humanely? On top of that there is currently no federal endangered species legislation in Canada. We are "harvesting" this animals as if they are dirt on the ground.

  • @Dprincess1807 the do miniture endangered species lists. the canadian lynx has more than healthy populations in western canada and alaska but around maine the populations are endangered but with the help of trapping of animals that compete with it for food, the populations is on the upswing. also if you get on the "cities" website that monitors animal populations you will see that it shows regions that the animals are listed as endangered.

  • @Dprincess1807 canada does follow "cities" regulations my furs are sold through canada every year and they make sure that all "cities" tags are correct so no endangered species is sold as a look alike species. people who care about animals well being and populations should speak out against poaching rather than people who follow the laws of hunting and trapping. if a animal is harvested for food why should the skin be thrown away? it is more respectful to use the whole animal not just part of it

  • @beavthetrapper The way you use harvested is disgusting as well. These are living, breathing animals with the ability to feel pain. They have just as much right to live are we do.

  • @Dprincess1807 i myself would rather die from a bullet then starvation and the traps are for the most part painless. if we stop killing them you would soon see animals starving and diseased everywhere. look at california when the coyotes was attacking kids because there wasn't enough food for them to eat. the deer population in rhode island when they didn't allow hunters to harvest enough deer to keep population down, causing thousands of deer to starve, hundreds was found dead in a boston park.

  • @Dprincess1807 there is a huge difference between the fur trade and child labor and forced prostitution. i am against all prostitution just so you know. you should watch my video so you can see that traps are not like what the anti-fur and anti-trap organizations tell you.

  • @beavthetrapper In my eyes there are no difference between forced prostitution, child labor, and the fur trade. They all come down to someone or something being cruelty used for people's desires (not even there needs). I'm not saying all "trappers" are cruel people, I'm saying that taking a living breathing animals life so people can make a fashion statement is disgusting. Killing an animal to put basic food on your families table is understandable, but for there fur :S

  • @beavthetrapper I'm also not talking about only USA/CANADA when I talk about the "skinning alive". I've traveled and I've seen first hand the things that are done to these beautiful creatures just for there skin. I've also seen videos of animals having there skin ripped off then looking around after it happens. Your defending that behaviour by saying "traps are not like what the anti-fur and anti-trap organizations tell you" and what about seal clubbing? Thats humane? To beat something to death.
