Actually, they do. Super Mario Galaxy has an absolutely beautiful soundtrack, even better than Mario 64. Some of the music in that game is simply phenomenal.

This one is unbelievable. Mine is based off of this one though we differ a bit in some of the timing....everyone has a different timing for certain notes and they all sound good in their own way.

I remember back when I was like 7 and just got my N64. This was the first game I got because it came with it. Then the Zeldas' Star Fox, Bomber man etc.. I didn't have a care in the world, waking up at 7a.m and playing all day with my friends. Now I am 18 becoming a Music Major in college. I had no idea back when I was 7 that music could put such an impact on a games overall mood varying from level to level.

This song is awesome im learning it right now I wish they would make more mario games like this. I think this game succeeded becuase you arent directed where to go. this game lets you have freedom which door you want to open where you want to go on a level.

Man, you're not alone. I still have fond memories of Mario 64. It was a breakthrough in gaming history, as well. Not only was it one of the first games to have a true analog control scheme, it was also one of the first truly 3D games.

It really was, the voices were only short clips though, but who cares? I think if the game had more dialog it would have sucked. Anyway, it was a great game, and it's concept paved the road for many Mario games. (Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, ect.)
