For sure a custom made cue is a lot harder work! I know, I've watched my husband make them over the last ten years. If he had some of this equipment it would save soooo much time in the process.

@jablestwo cue tips are place on personal choice, cause there are many variety of tips that are made of different materials with different softness/hardness. itz removable and changeable. There are players who buys a cue, and changes the tip immediately.
