Klasse!
Have you done any expansion tests with the bullets from this mold? I would be interested in seeing an comparison of penetration and expansion between these and jacketed bullets.
Expansion tests are simple, the cheap way is to fire them downwards into a 55 gallon drum of water, and an even more accurate way is to fire them into ballistic gelatin (i think concentrated regular jello works about the same).
It would be interesting to see.
Nice video man, That mold looks very nice considering it's made of brass.
By the way, are the cavity pins star shaped, hex shaped, or round? (Sorry I couldn't see to clearly)
@LocustsOfSteel The mold comes with a set of round pins and a set of hex shaped pins. Newer worked with a mold like this. The expansion test is nearly impossible to do here in Germany. We're only allowed to shoot at a shooting range and I have to drive one hour to the next. So I can't make the test with a 55 gallon drum of water.
Those molds look very nice, especially in full brass. Brass is very expensive here in the states. Your bullets look sweet, very nice indeed. I love your setup you have there, looks very proficient.
miha's molds are truely a work of art. nuthing else even comes close.
