It's a prototype. Other Nokias have been out for months. Wait for a major FW update and it will beat the other Nokias.

At first I thought they were droppings too, but of course you are right- dog poop looks different;-)

As for the video- I totally wanted the Omnia HD, partly because of HD video but I guess good quality 16:9 VGA with good sound is better than 720p with sound problems and maybe framerate problems.

As for the review- you did an amazing job there! I had no idea about Maemo before but thanks to your reviews I have a pretty good one now and the N900 could well be my next phone. Thanks for your work!

Compared to previous Internet Tablets' VGA camera it surely is an upgrade. Regarding the lens being plastic or whatever, lets judge the quality of what it PRODUCES instead of what it is made from. It might as well be made of paper if it only recorded high quality video...

IMO yet again pretty soft PQ. Wild autoexposure. Compare with Omnia HD, N900 is smoother but disappointing in overall quality. This vid should be uploaded here upscaled to 720p for true results. Maybe raw link, pretty please? :)

It just appears to be softer after being re-encoded and resized by YouTube. Omnia HD videos look sharper because they are 720p originally and as such are not resized when you upload them here. As for links to the original files, you can find them on our discussion forums. YouTube blocks messages containing URLs.
