From the first time I heard about it, I found the Polytune a fantastic invention, but what really blew me away was the fact that the app can actually pick up chords from crappy small mics (such as the one in IPhone) that are just in a room somewhere, and isolate notes from background noise. And here you are actually tuning an electric guitar, and not an acoustic which has a louder unplugged sound. Fantastic. Absolutely brilliant.

Make me a wave editor for the iPad similar to Propellerhead Recycle and Sony Soundforge. The iPad supports USB Audio Interface, iPhone does not.
