@madant1977 I hate to disappoint you, but nothing really last forever, and clinging onto old releases means that you inevitably don't see the potential and merit of new releases. For example, Goldeneye on the N64 (brilliant game) is still called by some the best fps ever. These people don't understand that while it may conjure up the most fond nostalgia, it doesn't need to be compared to modern fps', and doing so only really retracts from how good it was in its day.

As a Piranha Bytes-Fan I can recommend Gothic 1, 2 and G2: Night of the Raven, too. They are this sweet compromise of enough freedom for the world to be convincing but not too big to loose the story thread.

Mr Zeitgeist. If you liked Risen you should play the first Gothic title. It´s very similar and one of my favourite games(It´s from the same developers).

I played Risen like once compared to the 8 times playthrough of the first title, which maybe a little to often. But you should at least play it once :)

On my game-play channel (which I no longer update), I got a lot of Content ID matches of other partners who would upload game-play or trailers and say that they owned the content and anyone else who uploaded that footage would get ads on their videos and the original poster would get paid. This is how I prevent that.

I stayed far away from Risen but the screenshots you showed of the sequel have me interested and Dead Island especially has me intrigued. It sounds like a mix of L4D (co-op focused, team of 4 facing a zombie outbreak), Dead Rising 2 (open world, weapon combos) and Borderlands (mix of FPS and RPG, pop in, pop out online co-op) but is a brawler (guess you could call it a FPF -First Person Fighter :p). That definitely sounds fun.
