Will I still get 1080p resolution if I use component cables? Or will I need the HDMI Cable?

Yes you would! Component carries signal up to 1080p resolution..some people say even more! If you use composite..thats a whole different story.

the 1080p unconversion is breathtaking! Try watching iRobot on this dvd player and a 120 hz 1080p hdtv...ridiculous
