My favourite song on Berlin. It's impossibe to sing along to, Lou seems to change the pace and delivery of his lyrics on every performance.

I think BERLIN is a great album to play to someone for the first time. I wish I could listen to it for the first time again. It divides people, Lou Reed is good at doing that. But if you love it first time it kind of stays with you forever. Its a real achievement in popular music, quite unlike anything else. Lou sounds great here.

I didn't like it at all first time, BUT I'm afraid I'm like that with a LOT of good albums, and I'm definitely coming around on this one. Maybe I needed to mature; it's a pretty mature album, lyrically.
