Now that's a good emulation. Reminds me of Project 64's SSB Emulation. Also, I noticed that the "echo" effec isn't loading in your vid, which makes Lucas' PK Starstorm sound... anti-climactic and jarring...
Tested a revision once, didn't start up ISOs :(. sometimes I browse the forums for one yeah. but this one I got from the frontpage works very well If those LAN adapters for the Wii weren't so expensive, like the Wifi adapter for the Xbox, I'd buy one :S.
Well, I always figured it wouldn't be too much more demanding than the Wii itself, but I can see the video recording program slowing it down significantly.
is this ntsc jap

The emulator doesn't seem to do the echo effect properly, although on character select it was over the top anyway.

how u got the jap version working
Emilio9708 2 years ago
Dumped the ISO using Wii USB Loader, and well, it just works.
It didn't work in the last build I tried but it worked fine in build R4700M, dunno why.

Is R7000M the newest build?( Im using R7425 64)

whoops i meant 4525

If you check the forums occasionally forum users will build the current revisions ahead of the frontpage releases.
P2P, we'd be better off playing it on the actual wii lol.

They're not that expensive, you don't have to use a brand-name one either.
I got one for like, £12 somewhere I think.
I don't use it though, my wifi works fine for wii.

There are also 3rd party ones?
Cool I'll check it out when the 360 is starting to bore me :P

overpowering a wii isn't exactly anything to brag about :L
BaconXBits 2 years ago
lol of course not.
But the general rule of emulation is that you need 8-10 times the power of the system you're emulating, so it's not immediately that simple.

Well I played around with brawl a little, and observed that:
- more characters causes slow down
- Stages with more active designs cause slow down (final destination doesn't have a lot going on)
- Specific graphical effects cause slow down.
You ever noticed those glowing hands Lucario has? Those cause slowdown right away.
For me, something like Mario vs Pikachu on Final Destination goes full speed.

I thought you quit brawl.

I love how on the Japanese copy it actually sounds like "PK star storm", but on the English, it sounds like "PK Kamboosh" or something ridiculous.
Anyway, pretty nice.
DancingRoundtheWorld 2 years ago
A considerable amount of the japanese voice acting is still all english, but a lot of the localised voice acting was pretty bad, lol.
RupeeClock 2 years ago
Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't sound any different than on my English copy.
BaconXBits 2 years ago
Pretty sure Lucas' voice is the same, but Lucario's changed for the english release.
