Lol I cosplayed L yesterday and today. I was with BB and Mello and today I had Near, Matt, and Matsuda. I was the only one in costume though... Anyway I luv these pics and BBXL is my absolute favorite pairing ever. Red is also my fave cosplayer not just BB of all time, you and your L are so adorable! B is Beyond Birthday. He was another of L's backups in the anime. He looked pretty much just like L. But he was mentally disturbed, and found joy in killing. In the end he was sent to prison then killed by kira. This occurred one year before L's death.

Beyond Birthday exists as a character in the novel "Another Note." The events from this canon Death Note novel occur before the storylines of both the manga and anime. Beyond Birthday has never appeared in the manga, anime, or film series to to date.
